I was blown away by No Man's Sky last year at VGX. Back when I thought it was going to be a game.

Fuck this crap is tiresome. If you'd actually spend 5 seconds typing the title into Google you'd see tons of info about the content -- space combat, resource gathering, investigating major happenings in the galaxy, etc.

If you watch the thirty minute video Game Informer put up (theres another thread) they talk about that, and while I'm not sold on the 'gameplay' in this game (what is the objective besides just wondering around everywhere?) it isn't pop in (slow loading) instead its the world actually being made in that very moment. It's very impressive.

The engine they've built for this is pretty amazing and GI's behind-the-scenes video is excellent.
