They're trying in Mexico with Santa Clara, but it's hard to beat the #1 company "Lala", anyway apparently they's a constroversy about their ads for Fairlife, wich are considered sexist.

That one girl has explosive milk farts

I remember hearing something from one of the supplement companies, maybe Rich Gaspari, about 2 years ago that the price of protein powders would soon skyrocket because one of the beverage giants was buying a shitload of milk from China.

Looks like you didn't read the, OP. ;P

I simply don't believe them. Coca Cola is either sugary crap or sweetened crap, that tastes like sugary crap. :P
Coca cola to me is the opposite of high end.

Milk contains around 5% sugar and around 4% fat.

Regular Coke is around 20% sugar, if not even more than that. And Coke is supposed to be a watery drink, not food.

The biggest problem with milk IMO is the amount that you have to buy to get any. Sell me $2 or less bottles of a small portion that I'm required to use for cooking/baking.. I don't need a lot extra that I most likely won't drink. The little $1.29 or whatever Nesquick chocolate milks are perfect. More of this size and price but of white milk as well.

If you are a company selling consumption, you go where the consumption is and leave no stone unturned. If they consume it, make it.

You should look into powdered milk if you're using it mostly for cooking and baking. You could also use evaporated milk that comes in cans, which is shelf stable.

They'll likely lose a lot of potentially interested people if they go that route - I know that UHT treatment isn't unhealthy for you or anything but it has a distinctly different taste than fresh milk, and not in a good way.

But you're right, they don't have the distribution to do it any other way.

Most people can't taste the difference between UHT and regular milk. Organic milk is typically UHT and I don't taste the difference at all.

Personally, I think this is a step in the right direction. UHT milk should be standard, along with lowering of lactose content.

Ccca cola sells all types of beverages, including plain tap water lol.

That's not what they are known for. They are known for sugary drinks, that are basically water & lots of sugar or water & lots of artificial sweetener (both of those are bad for your health). They are known for selling unhealthy products. They are on the same level as McDonalds.

And why would I give an American company money for water, when I can get water right out of the valve, which is actually higher quality (at least here in Europe) and less expensive (especially because noone ships it around for hundreds of kilometers, which is silly in all sorts of ways)?

Well, FWIW, Coca Cola also produces Dasani bottled tap water which has no sugar in it... It's not like Coca Cola has to product only sugary drinks.

Dasani water has sugar in it?

Protein IS the buzz word right now. It's even promoted on boxes of cereal.

As it should be. Fats were unfairly advertised against and is a big reason why people aren't educated properly about nutrition.

I agree. Were you there in the "fat free" days?

We're still in it, unfortunately, but we're making progress. Frustrating. "But it's low in fats!" well ok but that's not the problem.
