I'm only interested in this one for the visuals. What they've shown of gameplay thus far is kinda awful :l

I'm sold on the game at this point. But to echo some of the other feelings in here, Sony is really, really stupid for not showing this game off proper. It's only because of B-roll like this and off cam footage from the event that I'm convinced...just think of all the people you're not reaching because they are not on video game forums staying on top of the latest information.

But yeah on a more positive note the game looks stunning...in ALL aspects.

Looks amazing in its own right but better than the Order? I don't necessarily agree. After seeing the direct feed Order footage, it is definitely one of the best looking games ever made period.

Oh you mean Star Citizen, the not released, non-playable, slow as molasses and while still running on a powerhouse PC that probably costed over $1500 demo?

Sure, most idiots could make something look better on hardware like that with half a decent staff.

We get it, but no one is that impressed knowing the context. I love the PC, but I'm super tired of people driving by threads with no context PC screenshots and waving their e-penises around.

Damn! The B Roll footage looks incredible. The art direction, cloth physics, gun shot particles, DOF, AA.
It has a CGI quality to it, the IQ is so good!

I think it looks far more impressive than the Uncharted 4 true gameplay we saw at the PSX.
And The Order: 1886 is almost here... And it is RAD first console game, think about that.

After seeing this and played Driveclub with dynamic weather I have no doubt PS4 will continue to impress in the upcoming years. Oh... and the black borders are BLACK on my Panasonic VT60, the aspect ratio doesn't even bother me that much.

Not bad for a $399 console. ;-)

Damn this looks amazing and fun as hell. Some of the game play moments are pretty pointless however. You don't need a QET for everything, such as separate ones for each number in a countdown. Cut scene is fine. I mean, what would happen if you got it wrong, he accidentally says the wrong number and everything goes to shit? Wat?
Also, I can actually follow the story I think in this footage. In everything they've shown so far I've had no idea WTF was going on. :/

Not likely I think. RaD guys have been working on their engine from the ground up for next gen for years. I think ND's is still kind of half and half. Plus, The Order's art and presentation seems to be a level up from Uncharted's. Check out what happens when Galahad starts the lock pick mini game. Everything little thing is so detailed and you can tell they are super meticulous.

Honestly this B roll footage kinda destroys UC4's pre alpha footage. I don't see ND overtaking this in visuals. Maybe once Corrine helps ND build an engine from the ground up. They're still using the UC3/TLOU engine I think

If you look closely in the E3 demo Lady Igraine uses it and it instantly turns rebels into mist.

I'm guessing you'll need guns like that to fight lycans. Considering we've only seen the thermite rifle and arc rifle, I hope there's a few others like that and that they're kept under wraps until release.
