If I ever get an XB1, I'll make sure to check this game out. Looks interesting.
Man the forza guys always know how to make the best trailers.
No more driveclub comparisons. Ignoring the fact that one game is entirely open world while the other penalizes you for getting too much grass on your tires, the discussion has gotten tedious and predictable.
The rain and wind are really moving. The trees are getting knocked around pretty well too. Looking forward to in-car views.
Are the weather effects only for the island? Getting the main game for Christmas, and this sounds great. Hopefully this and the VIP pass go on sale before New Years.
I have 256, which I think is the max, minus a Gamestop only car, a Ferrari California, that I'm missing. So this should get it up to 264.
Is this the free roam rally I've always wanted from Horizon? Because that trailer makes it look like it.
We need hurricanes and tornadoes. It's pretty depressing that the only racer to attempt this is FUEL, I'd love to see someone more competent take a crack at it.

It's the MK1, I don't think the XR2 was a thing until the MK2.
Yeah, and I sure can't wait until I can play the Driveclub Storm Expansion pack tomorrow, can you?
Oh, wait.
It's funny how FH2 fans don't want any comments or posts comparing the weather to DriveClub but yet in every DC thread there were drive by shit posts by fans of an other game? It's not open world blah blah. Graphics are nothing special blah blah!
Yes, the whole island is completely free roam.
They confirmed it in the IGN gameplay demo.
I'd like to see it affect your car, Have it blown around a bit. Any racers do that? I'd like to see the next FH to have a slider for weather simulation impact on the physics. I wanted to slide more in the rain.
I would love a catastrophic event style Forza game. Forzageddon sounds like a good name to me.
EDIT: Looks like a few of us want massive destruction. LOL

If it's anything like the Forza 5 'Racing' GOTY edition, you might as well jump in now.Wow. Once they get a GOTY edition I'll grab an X1 with it.
This looks amazing, and at $10 I don't even have to think about picking this up - its just a matter of when really.
There's a cockpit view in the vid albeit very short. Here's a walkthrough posted in the other thread,

Looks pretty damn good. Shame they didn't use cockpit view to give an idea of how the heavy the rain is and if it affects visibility.

FM5 VIPs got the FH2 VIP pass for $10 or the Ultimate bundle for $90.
TI'm very open to debate and have had numerous lively ones. Posting very obvious sarcastic posts that make fun of others stupid posts doesn't derail threads
If that's midnight EST I gotta admit, I'll have a very hard time not loading this up tonight, provided its available on time.Tonight at midnight is when.
It's been a while since I played it but I think Motorstorm Apocalypse had hurricanes and tornadoes. We need hurricanes and tornadoes. It's pretty depressing that the only racer to attempt this is FUEL, I'd love to see someone more competent take a crack at it.

Well there's a road that you can't enter near the airfield I always wondered why that was there, maybe for future DLC. Edit: nvm, it's a car meet spot....bridges?
Interesting. Any size comparisons for the new island to other sections of the map?
It doesn't mention Season Pass holders, is this not included? I know I get a discount for being a VIP but that seems a bit crappy for people who spent over £70 buying the day one "ultimate" edition from the store.
As impressive as that looks, DC has set a new bar for weather effects for me and this doesn't even come to matching those.
Still, looks cool. I'll check it out and hope this reignites my love for Horizon 2.
