Everything working perfectly for me, bless you Fromurantoowoo.
Oh, so it was a dll wrapper that was preventing DS to boot up.
Well, it works now.
anyone else giving away their old cd keys?
Use http://ds4windows.com/ instead of x360ce and check off Hide DS4 Controller.
Can you transfer saves and still opt out of the beta though?Right now you can get the GWFL + Steamworks Hybrid version if you opt out of the beta, though when i tried signing in it was stuck on the "signing in" graphic before i force closed it.
Is DSCfix still working? Or is it even needed?
Anyone else planning on replaying now that it has steam support?
Thanks, but Im still having the same problem (I deleted all x360ce stuff). Guess I'll keep using the 360 pad.
DSCfix, not DSfix.Download the version 23 to have everything back, even 60 FPS.
So, what are you guys doing? I'm playing Dark Souls on Steam at 60 FPS.

Besides Steamworks integration, any other changes? Is DSFix still needed?
Got all the steam achievements after I logged in to GFWL. Can I now avoid logging into GFWL all together now upon start-up?

Who said it (that is, boowoo90) wasn't From Software? *cue X Files music*So how is it that durante can patch the game to 60 FPS in a few hours and FROM can't do it officially?
Can I have your babies :3 thanks a bunch! Youre the best! So, what are you guys doing? I'm playing Dark Souls on Steam at 60 FPS.
Bought digitally and only have a LIVE Access Code
will a game key show up if I download and launch or will I have to buy it again
Ah yeah, that happens. I managed to fix that problem somehow, but it was annoying as fuck, can't find the guide that helped me though. I'm certain it involved removing and changing registry keys and uninstalling GFWL and manually deleting files.
It's a fucking mess I tell ya
DSCfix, not DSfix.
The connectivity patch

Might need to disable other controllers/input devices if they show up in your Game Controllers menu. Always causes problems for me in DS1 and 2 unless the dual shock is the only entry in there
Apparently all I had to do was remove 2-step verification from my hotmail account.
I said officially.
Like in every other normal PC game where you can choose the res and play it atleast with 60 fps.

Tried giving the GWFL key to a friend and it didn't work.![]()
I think the creator of DSFix is implying something here.

Apparently DSFix is still needed and you have to use the newest version if you want the FPS unlock to work again.
Yes.
Just opt into the 2.0 beta version (it will download a ~46mb file) and it should work like other steam games.
If you already opted in and want out then Yep. That's what i did as an experiment and it ended up in the situation i mentioned in the last post.
Opted back in, ran the game and my saves were still working.
might want to back up data just in case though![]()
You do not need to buy again. The instructions are in the OP. For convenience though, here you go (I think the live access code must be the serial, but you should have one somewhere even if that isn't it):
I've already tried the live access code and that didn't work. Didn't work for the SSF4 switch either. There's no other code so i'm going to try downloading and launching the game
