You know, I'd almost prefer this to the "guess when she goes up!" approach.

I was going to do in-store pick up for her, but online is for shipping only, correct? If true, this gives me hope I can find her in a store.

I'm glad that I can just go to any retailer I want to in the UK in order to get any Amiibo I want. Granted most retailers are out of stock of a few now, but I think everyone had enough time to get what they wanted. None of that sold out overnight bullcrap.

I hope so as well. However, I think they'll end up selling them pretty well. We and the people hanging out on Reddit/CAG are generally in the know for that kind of stuff. Random people just trying to get a pre-order for their kid's favorite character as a late christmas gift are a little more desperate I think. Just like all the nonsense on Black Friday with people trampling each other, everyone wants to feel like they were the hero of Christmas to their kids :/

It's likely. All other retailers seem to be doing so, but at some point it'll slow down. It really depends how well the retailers communicate with Nintendo. I can't imagine not reacting to something like "Hey, so Rosalina pre-orders sold out in 30 minutes. Give us more?"
