Hmm dilemma. So I have been collecting these for me and my 7 yr old daughter (that is what I tell myself). Of course Villager and Marth were missing from our initial collection. So when my in-laws asked what she could use I threw that out there, you know to complete our set ha. Well this bag definitely has two items that feel like amiibos. Should I open to confirm and close it back? lol

UK-GAF, has your wave 2 amiibo on amazon shipped yet? if so, when ordered?
got a little mac preorder a couple days ago, but dont want to skip it in a store tomorrow then find out amazon flaked
I have a little mac that hasn't shipped yet. I've managed to pick up all of the other five on the high street though

Maybe...I'm still not convinced Nintendo isn't serious about those being one and done...the seemingly new shipments in Europe give hope though...

Does BB compensate for the troubles of cancelling your orders? If they cancel my Meta Knight pre-order, they will receive nonstop bitching from me.

Yikes, these Best Buy in-store pick-up stories are making me pretty nervous for my Meta Knight pre-order, despite him being a store exclusive. Does anyone know if there's a way to change a BB pre-order from in-store pick-up to ship to home without canceling my initial order? I tried to figure it out earlier and didn't have any luck

Rare is probably the wrong word. They'll have less stock than others but still plenty around I've seen.

I enjoy the hunt, except for the Rosalina pre-order mess...
There have constantly been new shipments in Germany, at least. Villager, Marth and Kirby have been out of stock time and time again, but always got restocked. Bought a Pit for my cousin's birthday today, and the store had once again the complete set of the first wave on the shelf.
Maybe the demand for Amiibos is just a lot higher in the US compared to Europe, I don't know, but it does feel like Nintendo's still producing those wave 1 characters. Or maybe it's just that NoE still had thousands of Amiibos in their warehouses, while NoA already sold through its contingent. Who knows, really.
I would totally buy one of those from you and pay shipping/handling if you were to go back for them...
yeah I got a bunch others already delivered from Nintendo store, just they didnt have little mac so went shopto... who cancelled my order on wed, then luckily amazon had preorders open again.

I should be getting my wave 2 bos from Shopto tomorrow (alongside Captain Toad hopefully). So far I've had quite a pleasant, non difficult experience getting hold of the figures I desire. I feel for you guys across the pond, it seems really sucky over there. 
I think maybe a reason it's not so hard here in the UK is because not many of us actually like Nintendo, apparently.

They are canceling all the orders that were done with the buy 2 get one amiibo free deal.
Fuck man, they had to chose the rarest one out of the three to cancel.
Ugh. I only went for Little Mac, maybe that's why it worked.

Granted I doubt it will be hard to find Mega Man, Sonic, or Toon Link when they come out. I'll just preorder them at Gamestop or something (already got Shulk and Ike there anyways)

The whole promotion period. The guys said he is seeing mass cancellations.
So I made three orders one set had in amiibos out already so that was picked up and the other two orders had in all preorders including wave 2 and 3 so they are going to cancel them also. I think they are canceling one amiibo out of the order so you are only paying for two but they canceled the one that was the rarest.
I am pretty pissed right now.

My local TRU was completely out of Little Mac, Fox, and Luigi (I bought the last one). Only one Samus left and it she is leaning to the left a little, so I left it. Last week there was 10 Little Macs. Yeesh.

Guys: Please learn how to add your country (EU/JP/NA) and store to your comments if you want to mention the fact that you are going to pick up or your amiibo being shipped.

Yes, exclusive to target in US. Haven't seen any preorder info in store.

Same thing happened to me with Amazon. I had Zelda and Luigi ordered from them, but found them at TRU, so just cancelled them both. I wonder how many people have done that since those two are pretty easy to find.
