Stupid Target. Alright so if I order from Amazon.fr instead, I know the outside packing looks different, but is the figure itself any different? Basically once I open it, is the figure otherwise identical to the US figure?

That should be correct, yes. Only the packaging should be different. The figures are region free as far as I know.

Thanks, yeah I knew there was talk of them being there and in Richmond, VA. I'm a little far from there though. I tried Frederick when they came in (and I believe still said in stock to my knowledge) but two different people claimed they don't have them. I live up in the Northwest near Gaithersburg and Rockville.

Ah okay, yeah I used to live there, that would be a nightmare with 270 and the Beltway at the best of times. I've been taking weekend road trips to Winchester and Front Royal and having moderate success, scored a Marth in Front Royal the first weekend.

This is what I don't get. Exclusive content/toys/items are meant to draw you to go buy other stuff from them. It's to entice you to shop there instead of somewhere else. What's the point of all this for the retailer if all they're going to do is sell 5 of them and preorder them at 3 am when most people are asleep and they're gone in seconds?
