I just don't get why US and Canada has such low stock of everything and European countries be like "GOT AMIIBO?"
Been hunting for Little Mac for a while now. Haven't had any luck here in MD.
Just called in a GS around my area, asking for a Pit amiibo. The guy sound annoyed when he told me that he had at least 600 calls for the damn thing.
What kinda ticked me off is that he didn't apologize for his attitude. I can understand that he's kinda stressed out with that, but ffs at least a "sorry" would help.

Just got my Pit pre-order from GameStop. One of his hands looks a little iffy, but otherwise he looks really great. That's three from Wave 2, waiting on Little Mac and Falcon orders to be ready.
Maybe it's because of the West Coast Ports Strike that I've been hearing.
No clue if it's still in effect, but if it's the sign that there's a chokehold with the supplies then that's a maybe.

Maybe all these shipping delays is to allow Nintendo to get more Pits made. I HIGHLY doubt it, but one can always hope.

has there been any word on whether or not amiibos are region locked? I live in japan, but my Wii U is American (though at this point I might just get a JP Wii U). I'm in the states for the holidays, so I'm picking up a couple amiibos while here, but I'd really like to pick up JP ones back home when they come out.

I heard they are region-free, but IDK personally.
They confirmed they're NOT region locked.
Apparently it's exactly the same figure in the box. The only difference is packaging.

Leaning is a known issue with Samus. You can fix it with the hot water/cold water method.

Some might hit the shelves but inporting is the easy no stress option. Why bother with scalpers, low stock, and idiotic retailers when Europe is flooded with these.
I gladly imported UK versions of Disney animated classics on bluray since the US has the god awful vault shit on most of the early ones.

Speaking of Game&Watch how do you think they'll handle his Amiibo since he's essentially a 2D Figure. Im assuming its just gonna be a simple plastic cut out but it better be reinforced cause it seems like the type of figure to snap very easily.

He's only been released to 1 NA vendor so far, so hard to gauge. Shipments have been only 2-4 units per store though.

It is not officially out yet, so hard to tell.
So far those out Little Mac and Diddy Kong are rare.
I can see them going the Paper Mario style and putting cardboard in-between the middle.
I think you might have missed the Little Mac train in MD. I saw him at TRU in Annapolis around the 10th and then at Best Buy on the 19t.

Little Mac ran out in 2 days, so best to get it before Christmas.
Put the amiibo in boiling water, and after 4 minutes, take it out and put it on the freezer.
Pretty positive its run hot water over base where leaning move slowly into place rquickly run cold water over.
Yeah I guess I did. Been seeing Little Macs on craigslist. Still hoping I can get one online or a fellow GAFfer would be willing to sell.
Boil some water. Dip the affected part until it's malleable. Have a water with ice ready and dip it in that/ or freezer when you fixed the pose. There should be plenty of guides online if you want specifics.
They're probably trying to make sure they have QC up to par before tackling ZSS. If ZSS looks fugly, heads will roll.
