I hope that date is real and not as random as wave two. It would be easy to just go to target, toys r us and gamestop to get everything in one morning. I only have pre-orders at gamestop and they are usually good but I've never used in store pickup.

I got Pikachu and Link as a Christmas gift today. Link is actually really nice looking. No bent sword, and so far, I haven't noticed anything wrong with the paint. If he wasn't looking down, and had a clear stand, he would be a high-quality amiibo. Pikachu is good also, but the brown paint on his tail doesn't fill the whole outline. Apparently they were all the way, but I didn't even noticed until it was pointed out to me. So, now I have Yoshi, Pikachu, and Link. I am betting I will get some more for actual Christmas tomorrow.

Ok so I have all of wave 3 preordered except Shulk who I have zero interest in.
I hope you guys ordered Rosalina from Amazon.fr I think it was what 19 or 20 bucks shipping included that's worth my gas money and headache of how unorganized Target has been

Yeah Fox is probably my favorite amiibo of them all. Pit, Samus and Falcon are really nice too.

I never intended to get Luigi, but he was just sitting there, and it was bothering me that I was getting Mario Franchise characters but not the main 3, so I figure I'll pick up Mario and Peach a bit later and grabbed Luigi tonight...along with Pikachu and a preorder for King DeDeDe.

My Captain Falcon preorder was finally in today at GameStop!
I only got a text, no email or call which was new to me...
I asked them about my Pit preorder but they said they hadn't gotten him in yet. :/

Looks like I'm gonna have to pay scalper prices for Mac. I'm sick of running around,I've probably wasted $20 in gas anyways.

Found a local Gamestop that had Luigi in stock, and sold it to me! Best Buy, and their "street date" on their Luigi's they had on the shelf, can eat a plate of dicks. Only Pit remains from Wave 2 for me! WOOOO!~

The only Wave 2 figures I've seen ANYWHERE have been Luigi and Zelda. Never seen a single one of the other 4 figures and some stores apparently haven't even gotten them in yet or still don't know when they're supposed to release. This is the absolute worst experience I've ever had trying to buy a fucking toy.
Man toys r us had tons of them and I bought 2. I can't find pit anywhere

Best Buy actually does this many times before shipping on preorders that are dated well into the future. If I didn't have a BBY card, I woudn't use them.

He'll come back in stock. Wait until after the holidays and everything settles down, I have a feeling everyone but Marth/Villager/Wii Fit Trainer will reappear in the next big shipments.

Not sure why, but Luigi seemed hard to find in Phoenix.
Contrary to your beliefs I believe the next "big" shipment Will be Wave 3. And and that it wont be big. And that it will unannounced and sooner than expected... Its worked wonders to sell several so far why stop the gravy train whipe the method works?

Wave 3 is over a month off and pretty much every retailer is sold out, with maybe a Mario or Pikachu here or there.
There's going to be a restock.

Jesus. Thanks I'm cancelling a couple of my orders from them. Not chancing that garbage. That's worse than Gohastings. I did order 2 Little Macs from Amazon and although it came with barely any packaging aside from the box, they were in relatively good shape.

I hope so but I really doubt it and I don't think Wave 3 is a month away most retailers thought wave 2 was to be released at the end of the month but put there sparse stock recipents on the shelves immediately. They already said there will be amiibo who are limited to 1 print run and have already discontinued 3 from wave 1 no point thinking they wouldn't do the same here. At least imo it makes more sense for them financially to keep people thinking along these terms.

Should be getting Yoshi and DK for Christmas from family. With Marth and Villager already shipped from Germany that will complete Wave 1. Have the rest of Wave 2 preordered at Best Buy and I'm feeling more and more confident in them going forward. All of Wave 3 preordered other than Rosalina, most of which are also at Best Buy.
What's holding you back? Tight on money?
I know I'm on the same boat as you, since I'm in the "Oh god, I don't want it. But I still want it!" situation.

the figurines are fine but the product boxes are in terrible condition :/
they sent them in a very big box... and only used paper to fill up the spaces (thought they'll usually use those airbags T_T)
probably the worst shipment I received from them.
if you ever feel like replacing Little Mac, just keep me in mind as I open mine.
hopefully you won't have any problems with any future amiibo though
It just depends on where it ships from, different warehouse procedures I guess. How is your Amazon packaging usually? I always get great packaging from them. Today I received a Zelda in a huge ass box with plenty of cushion material. It arrived perfectly. Maybe order one of the commons and see how it arrives?
