Were there any holiday PS4/XB1 bundles that were digital-only game codes and have no physical discs in them? Because that would be the worst damn Christmas ever, since setting up/installing/system updates/massive game patches to work online are already annoying enough.

I do not know much about hacking and this mega voucher stuff (i know its for a file sharing site) but is it possible that this dotcom guy game them free vouchers so he can track the codes and see who is redeeming them, in turn giving him the information on who the hackers are or who they are associated with?

Same here. I really feel for these kids. We had it lucky back in the day with consoles and games that worked out of the box. Must be some pissed off kids and parents today. Plus I wouldn't be surprised in shit loads of returned consoles.

you are talking like consoles can't be played and enjoyed offline and as is if every kid who received there new console as a gift even has internet to begin with. For the most part parents would rather not even let there kids play online depending on how old they are.

i learned that today after trying to play Halo MCC and it said if i play this system often. And if I do when I have online to set as my home xbox so i can play games offline
Xbox One is basically a brick without a patch out of the box. My nephew was crying when he realised his shiny new Garden Warfare game was unplayable all day. Good luck i got my son a WiiU and we've been playing that all day.

You have to select "Go Offline" in the settings. You cant play them because your xbox is trying to sign your profile in online first.

I thought the Xbox One needs a day 1 update out of the box before it will even work? Part of the 180 thing they did? My bad if not I thought both were severely limited or bricks without the first update out of the box.

You can play dragon age if you disconnect your ethernet. That is assuming you aren't trying to play MP.

I know that, he actually got it for his 360. I realised PSN was down too when i tried to put the game on my Ps4 for him :/
