Not really. You said that you when you pay for something you expect for it to work. When you're paying or leasing a car, when it stops working you don't demand restitution if your vehicle ceases to function. There is still currently no way to prevent a DDoS attack from happening.

Anyone else having trouble playing Digital Titles on Xbox One? I was playing The Master Chief Collection just fine, then in the middle of a Matchmaking search it froze. I pressed the Nexus button and went back to TMCC and resumed fine only it wouldn't find a match. I quit out now it says I need to connect to Xbox Live even though I am (when I try launching TMCC). I rebooted the Xbox One and it still says the same thing. There is a Service Alert for Purchase and Content Usage, I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

The exact same thing happened to me about 30 min ago.

This thread has been going non-stop for three days. It started with a lot of impotent rage, lots of complaints, whining, and people being (rightfully) upset.

This is a DDoS attack, go read about it and learn that no matter what, you will always be vulnerable to one depending on its scale. With enough bots, anything can be taken down.

I never said that. I said: dont you think that they would have fixed it if they knew how? When i asked the first question, i couldnt know if you had or didnt had any suggestions to how to prevent DDOS attacks, that is why i asked. So if this is a regular, unavoidable thing, guess what then the value is much less. There are so many analogies that could be made to these events that in their context are completely accepted and yet talking about this online situation suddenly everyone starts acting illogically.
