I've been unable to update my PS+ subscription due to this (Should never leave things to last minute) really hope I don't lose my PS+ games when I resubscribe :/

Thanks for the link, I don't understand how these people can honestly say this isn't disrupting people! I mean, I understand that it is only for a short time (It is working for me here in Australia *touchwood*), but my sister and cousin wanted to play creator levels in LBP3 and they couldn't, they loved playing bomb survival! To them it was a matter of asking their tech savvy brother/cousin to try and fix an issue that isn't possible to fix. I struggled to explain why they couldn't enjoy my gift to them. Damn frustrating is what it is.

I think they're referring to cases where people have actually lost access to their games simply by letting it expire for a day. It's a fear I, too, always have in the back of my head when close to the end of my subscription. There have been threads about it and the customer service nightmare that comes with it.
 
My PS+ ran out on christmas day and yet I'm playing cod:aw multiplayer right now...

The pings are atrocious though, pretty unplayable right now
 
28th already and still pretty much a hit and miss experience and still trying to check nearly every few hours to see if my codes work to no avail.

That sucks man. And to just imagine how many other children had a similar experience makes me feel dejected.

You can't understand their reasoning because they clearly have no actual reason aside from laughs and internet notoriety. They kept talking about security when they know damn well, their DDoS attacks have nothing to do with what they are talking about.
 
Sony doesn't owe me anything, the fuckers that did this do.

Sony was a victim in all this. I can't imagine how much money they lost in lost reveneue due to their store being down for days.
 
Log in OK (MTU 1492) but cannot restore licenses (maintenance) or play digital games on my second Ps4.

Was on destiny an hour earlier, but good old PSN kicked me for not able to verify license.

I hate the verify license garbage when its down, its just not right.

Also store still down

Everyone should do this on their home pc, mess with MTU settings. A higher setting than needed will cause packet loss. Not sure why this is working for some people, maybe just a lucky guess on the number. I believe 1500 is the max setting for what most people use.

Will the sales be extended? I purchased a few cards on Amazon for the last week sales, and I cannot redeem them. Sony should do something about this.

Sony will for sure give all PS+ users at the very least a free month of PS+. They need to do some sort of damage control.

Store is still down for me, which sucks because I'm trying to download dragon age so I can mail my disc copy for my friend (he doesn't have internet right now).
 
Im getting the maint message for the store...but then the store loaded up, and then went right back to maint mode again as i was trying to redeem dlc codes. Grrrrrr......
