PSN is finally back online for me to buy Dragon Age on PS4 and the game won't even start (force closes after title screen CE-34878-0 error)
Got no luck.

yeah I can log into my brothers account but not mine because I need to input the password on mine. I feel like I'm screwed because hawkmoon is at xur and I need that upgrade

Finally got most of it to work on PS4 after the MTU fix/trick from the other thread.
PS4 Store is still iffy but all the rest works perfectly.

You can play it without PSN. Just go to settings and set the console to offline. Then it won't check for the EA servers.

I know that's what I did. But now it's asking me for my psn password and I'm just not passing that. Connection to server has been terminated.

Not really. That was actually a "hack", done by professionals who exploited a security hole in Sony's security that caused PSN to be down for like 8 weeks. That is partly Sony's issue as it was a hole in their security. A DDoS attack? Not their fault.

I woke up about 15 minutes ago, tried signing in to PSN, and it failed.

Lowered the MTU setting from 1500 to 1473 and it works now. Bravo!

So I received a code from Sony to receive an extra 2 months with a 13 Monty membership. I entered the code fine but it now does not not me but PS Plus. When I am able to buy it will the 2 months just get added on from the code?

Crazy that PSN is still down, hopefully they get it sorted in the next couple days at most. You'd have to think revenue from new PS4 owners PSN impulse game purchases is gonna be greatly affected.
