Watched Ep.5, is the whole series this much episodic? They basically have a Stand user enemy per episode and that's it.

It's of a Monster of the Week format, yes. Partially why some such as myself preferred Part 2. There are some conflicts that take more than an episode to resolve, however.

early on yeah. It compared itself to 'Around the World in 80 days' and its very much that same vein of "let me use this premise as an excuse to show off whatever wacky shit I can imagine."

Fortunately, it keeps itself entertaining

Plus you'd never get great stuff like the narrator explaining how to barter. Which is in the manga too. That's not an anime only thing.

For the first already aired half, it is essentially Monster of the Week.
Fights get longer and more characterized in the second half.

Araki telling me in detail about absolutely random shit is one of my favourite things in JoJo.

I'm fairly certain the way Araki does things is he gets really into one subject for a week or two, and then designs a fight or a Stand around it. I think he said that in an interview somewhere. It's more obvious in later parts since they have more variety, since nearly every Stand in Part 3 is based on a horror movie of some sort, at least loosely.

JoJo fandom can be amazing sometimes.

Finally caught up with all of Stardust, thank fucking God it's starts again in 11 days, this shit is addictive.

I'm honestly still not sold on the actual meat of the show and most of the "fights" have been pretty meh, and with most Stands being tied to horror movie culture it felt more like an anime version of Supernatural, but artstyle/characters/irony and Stands potential for some really cool fights will keep me hooked.

Finally an anime worth watching , cant wait to see the new OP if there is.

no cg plz
There's a new OP, the title is out already and can be preordered. Also the CG OPs are amazing, what are you smoking

The new opening for the season is called “JoJo Sono Chi no Kioku ~end of THE WORLD ~“. “Sono Chi no Kioku” means “The Memories of That Blood”.

I'm so excited! It's almost JoJo Fridays again!

Without entering spoiler territory, there's so much in this season I'm excited to see animated in the current style!

I'm up to part 7 of the manga and man, they have GOT to make adaptations of all the other parts.

In any case, I'm looking forward to Jojo Fridays again.

Almost time for me to resume my Crunchyroll sub then! I'm really looking forward to the second half of Stardust Crusader.

Do we know if the've confirmed intentions of adapting all the other parts? If they're already splitting SC in 2 i'm guessing this'll happen for all the other ones, so lol we're looking past 2020 here

They haven't confirmed 4 yet. They said something about make sure you keep supporting the show so they can green light 4. I hope they continue to be faithful to the manga. Jojo deserves it.

I really hope Part 4 gets an adaption. Wonder if they will bother with Part 5 though.

Stone Ocean and SBR need to happen though.

Probably won't know if they plan to adapt Diamond is Unbreakable until the last episode of this, like they did the first few minutes of Stardust Crusaders at the end of Battle Tendency. Totally expecting a teaser of Josuke.

I hope they do part 5. They need to do every part.

With how well this series has been received and is selling it's just a matter of time.

That scene at the end of Battle Tendeceny was in the manga though

I never actually read the manga for 1 or 2, since the art is of dubious quality and the scans aren't exactly great. I'd still expect a teaser for Part 4 at the end of this if they're planning on doing it. They wouldn't even have to show anything, just play a sound clip of Josuke saying his iconic words. :p

But yeah, can't wait for Friday. Too bad we won't get to see the OP until the Friday after this one tho

But the scans of Part 1/2 are actually very good quality compared to the majority of the series. But this is judging back in 2012 and even so the drop in quality from part 2 to three is staggering.
