Which is strange because the song is so shit
The new opening didn't do much for me to be honest. It was terrible IMO. Visually, the ending is fantastic, but that song is also terrible. Never liked it.
As for the episode, it was entertaining, but I wasn't that much of a fan of the new music that played either. It was also kind of missing that awesome onomatopoeia in certain scenes I was certain it would have, but no dice. ;( those two things stuck out to me the most. Outside of that though, it's Jojo!!!! And the animation in some parts was really awesome.
Really do love the visuals of that new ending a lot, but that song. Uggggh
I would imagine we might get another set close to the end of the show. The lack of a strong presence in both the OP and ED makes it hard for me to believe that these will be the only OP and ED we'll get for this season. There has to be another they have planned for the second cour of this season.
Might want to skip watching the intro to avoid this episode's new character, the reveal is much better![]()
I guess I am the only one here to like the new opening. It's cleary not the most epic of them but I like the less serious tone of this one with the ORA ORA ORA ORA. But yeah that sounds disjointed, that's the only think I find too bad and a little bit amateurish.Even if I would like Muda Muda Muda more.
The different parts from the different vocalists are great, individually, but they do not flow together at all which makes it sound disjointed
There are like 4 point during the OP where you think it's going to break out into an exciting chorus, and every single time it seems to change into something completely different and starts building up again.
It's an entire song of buildup to nothing.
I don't really like either the new OP or the new ED
On a second watch, the song for the OP is pretty weak. But the visuals are great, especially for manga readers like myself.
Is this confirmed? bu bu bu holy diver...![]()
This is besides the fact that the show has still failed to even elaborate where Stands come from or why they weren't in Parts I and II (other than Araki didn't think of them yet)
The Joestars stands got awakened, some people were born with them before.Didn't they say that Stands all over the world got awakened because Dio awakened his? Also, Stands are like concentrated Ripple, which is why Ripple is not used anymore.

Joesph Joestar, Holly Joestar and Jotaru Kujo got their Stands through Dio because he is using the body of Johnathan Joestar and they are his living descendents. All other Stand Users in the show got their Stands independent of the Dio business. So where Stands come from in general, where Dio got his (neither he nor Johnathan had one in Part I) and why nobody in Parts I or II knew anything about them isn't explained. Now yes, I'm aware they exist in Part III because Araki needed/was asked to spice up the Jojo formula - he hadn't thought of them before Part III. However, since Parts I - III are all in the same universe and sequels to each other, you kind of have to explain their sudden appearance in the narrative.
Now I've heard there is some kind of explanation in later parts (I don't know if they address at all in Part III or not) but I don't know what it is yet so I have no idea if its satisfactory. The fact that it hasn't already been addressed in Part III yet will never not bother me though and I don't know how it managed not to really bother other people. The show is of course very entertaining in spite of it but its still kind of a plot hole :/
You learn about how Stands came to be in later parts of the manga. We're not allowed to put spoilers here, even tagged, right? So I can't really say. When they do Part 4 you'll find out about it.
A little bit out of topic but since Jojo restarted and Crunchyroll arrived on Wii U, I thought it would be nice to see Jojo now on Crunchyroll and maybe even subscribe to this...
But I see all the catalog and all the thing that seems interesting was Gintama, Persona and PingPong. The rest of the anime seems like some story with little girls, maybe I missed some great animes but that's the only things I notice so a subscription now is clearly a no.
Really, did I miss something (FYI, I live in Europe maybe the catalog is different in America)
I can give you a 48 hour trial that I get for subscribing. It's not like I'm doing anything with them besides letting them expire.
Also, yes the catalog can be different, but only the one it allows you to watch, the search results should be the same for all regions I think.
Slow episode overall, but glad it's back.
