I'm kidding about the GAF thing but I met 5 people I go to Vegas with every year from 4chan. Naturally all deviants in some way but we all have a good time...really odd how it worked out I guess.

That's actually pretty cool. I think if I were to ever catch up with 4chan in person again, it'd be exclusive to my fellow /vr/ troopers.

Edit: I imagine 4 and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Damn AyaisMUsikWhore, lookin' good :D

They have a "no visible piercings except anything on the ear" policy, so I just flip it up. Problem is at that size is having that much metal up in your nose. The initial piercing size is much more comfortable.

I just leave my tongue in too but I have clear ends on it, blends in well enough and it barely shows when I talk.

Ahh. At my job I'm a supervisor and we have to tell employees to take out piercings like that. But mostly for safety reasons... they fear it'll get caught on something due to the environment we work in and then it'll cause a violent accident.

Ahh. See I just work as a cashier scanning groceries, not much that can really go wrong there.

I can only imagine what would happen if I met up with a gaffer in vegas of all places. yikes!

Yeah, when I went through orientation at my job they showed a picture of a finger that had been "degloved" when a ring got caught in the machinery. That was awful

Aw, Christ dude... I had never heard of that term and I googled it just now. That would be enough for me not to wear rings around the machinery.

I should have put a "do not Google" warning.

It's all good. When ever I see your username I think of this:

I'm so happy guys. I finally can move on with my life. I'm really at peace. Just with everything. Sorry if this comes off random. But I feel like my fight with cancer is finally over. Like truly over. And I've finally have wrapped up all my issues.

Good for you man, I truly mean it. I've lost many family members to cancer, luckily, my father survived. Genetically, my odds are about 1:3 of facing some form of cancer before I otherwise die of old age. Just brief mentions of people fighting the fight are cumulative to me. They make me think that, God forbid, I was diagnosed tomorrow, I can win. You're the man dude.

Thanks guys. That means a lot. I messed up and allowed my cancer to ruin things in my life. I lost the most important person in my life over it. But I just got closure. So Im at peace. It sucks knowing the things you did wrong. But I also know what they are and know I can move forward and never make these mistakes again.

What I've learned is, don't take shit for granted. If you have something special, truly fight for it and hold on. I might end up losing this forever. I hope not. I hope time can heal things. But I also accept the consequences if I do lose it. I'm just happy I got closure. I can finally say goodbye to my cancer and end that chapter.

So I'm pretty happy right now, even if I also fucked up and lost things on the way. The fight is finally over.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Fuck regrets... You are where you are and you seem to be content with that place. Follow the sun and with it, your hopes and dreams.

^ Azula you'll always be my hero

Thank Amirox! This post made me fangirl a little bit. I totally thought you were black for the longest time and now seeing you I was wayy off but you look good yourself! Thanks :D

haha, it's so weird you're like the thirtieth person on GAF who said that. I always wonder if I said something once that gave people that impression. I'm Puerto Rican and italian, although my sister is married to a Black man and has two beautiful black children. :D

Anyway thanks for the compliment as well *b*

I'm leaving for a trip to Japan in January. I also have been working in the film industry with music. So I have a lot of things to look forward to. Whatever success I have I want to share with you guys :) going to head to bed. Night!

Going to the same college as a certain GAF member who had to endure listening to her sister have sex, it wasn't really a big deal since we came to find out that a couple of common friends happen to be GAF lurkers. It was funny. Pau is a good game master as anyone can attest.

Meeting GAF members is nothing new to me as I've met way too many over the years that I've been on this forum. However, I can tell those of you that have never attended a GAF meet up that it's a lot of fun and at times, it feels like a bunch of old friends catching up on life because we only see each other so often because everyone has different things going on.

Getting cancer sucks, so surviving it and having the strength to move on from it is an amazing feat in and of itself. Reminds me of the 6 year old cancer survivor thread that GK86 made two years ago where a bunch of us banded together to send her a card: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=648447

Also, hi guys, been lurking throughout the thread and will continue to lurk.

Oh shit didn't even realize that was you. Man you look great! :) Alright really heading to bed now.

Glad to have you aboard!

Edit: It's 1:30am EST. Skullface signing off

My real name's Alex. It's been a pleasure. Especially that eye candy read head ;)

You've managed to reveal my true form, I hope you're all proud.

It's nice to see faces, but I've realized that with this forum being so much bigger than the communities I've been on in the past, avatars are my main way of differentiating members, especially members I've yet to personally talk to/message. This is going to be a confusing month, I'm sure.

It's all good. When ever I see your username I think of this:

Nostalgia moment, I had one of those when I was younger. Never really cared for Turbo in the games I played at the time though. (platformers, Earthbound)

Yup, seen that. I imagine if that happened to someone with a nose piercing the damage would be... grotesque, to say the least.

Ahh. See I just work as a cashier scanning groceries, not much that can really go wrong there.

You never know man. Those rotating grocery lanes are some devious shit ;)

I know some grocery stores round here make people take out serious facial piercings/etc because they think it's bad for business. I think people don't go to grocery stores to look at someone's piercings so why should anyone care what people wear at work, but what do I know :p

Sister took a picture of me during breakfast. I think I'll keep my current avatar but I figured I'd post a 2015 pic in here haha.

2015, year of the musicals. Already going to see Beauty and the Beast in February, and BOOK OF MORMON (omg) in April.

Hell yes.

Man, these pics are way more appropriate to rotate around and put "Oh my" below.

Yes, so late, I know.

you look mad young! How old are you if you don't mind me asking?

I am getting too old :(

I'm hoping this is the year Into the Woods comes back to Broadway and that Hunchback of Notre Dame musical finally opens.

School of Rock? :O Nice.

Just saw the Into the Woods movie. Good enough lol.

I didn't know there was a Hunchback musical. Disney or no?

Disney! It was originally performed in Germany, but they made a few changes to the story that went along with the novel.
Esmeralda dies.
Last I heard they were doing auditions. We'll see if they keep the changes or make it "family friendly" again.
