Hmm, the ones I'm still missing are:

- Peach
- Samus
- Fox
- Luigi
- Diddy Kong
- Captain Falcon
- Pit
- Ike
- Bowser
- Lucario
- Sonic
- Mega Man

The rest I either have already or have reliably pre-ordered. I don't know if I'll keep collecting these after Super Smash Bros though...they're such a ridiculous moneysink. *_*

I'd say that outside of the hoarder mentality, everyone should just pick-up their favourites. I'm still missing Pit, but I'm waiting for King Dedede & Meta Knight to come into the mail.

That's what I've been doing. It's a lot less stressful when you're only interested in 3 or 4 Amiibo out of each Wave and not trying to collect them all. I pre-ordered the ones I want as a back-up in case I don't find it in store.

Yeah, and I'm finding it A LOT more easier to just order the damn things online, as calling the stores in my area have the results being fruitless.

Yes however I think it's reasonable to assume that out of the 4 retailer exclusives for wave 3, meta knight is probably the least sought after and may be easier to get over time. At least that's how I view it.

Meta-Knight was pretty easy to order early on. I've been checking Rosalina since the first day. I was able to get her in my cart once, but forgot my Target password.

Rosalina isn't more valuable than Meta Knight. It's just that Meta Knight was available for pre-order from Best Buy for around two weeks so people had plenty of time to get one.

Rosalina on the other hand went up for pre-order at Target at like 1 o'clock in the morning with no limit to how many you could buy so people were buying 10+ and it sold out within 10 minutes. A lot of us didn't get a chance to even try to get one.
 
Guys! Pit is available for backorder on Amazon right now! Stock will replenish on January 5th! All that leaves now is Captain Falcon for me...

Dang, that Pit availability on amazon is really tempting me right now. But I always said I wasn't gonna get everyone and he's really not on my most-wanted list. Think I'm gonna ignore it.

Wish it was Little Mac :(
 
Ah. Thanks fer clearing that up. The only "exclusive" Amiibo I've secured is Lucario. I'm going to try and pre order Shulk tomorrow locally, and as far as Rosalina and Meta Knight go well jeez I guess I better get lucky.

So we know Rosalina goes up and down fer order, but what about my man Meta Knight? Will he be available again online or naaaah
 
Thank you for the heads up on Pit! That was the very first character I wanted, so now I only have to seek out Marth and King Dedede!
 
After importing, I'm only missing Fox, Kirby, and Yoshi.
It's a terrible feeling knowing I've spent this much, haha.

I've got a PHYSICAL Lucario preorder, so I'm hoping that'll be alright.
Pit was a pain to fine, but it's saying he's in stock locally so I might go pick one up while I'm out tomorrow if he's still around just to have a spare to sell/trade.

Shulk preorders are closed at gamestop for a couple weeks now.

I've only bought Donkey Kong so far and have preorders for MegaMan, Rosalina and Bowser.

I'm hoping all the Koopalings get an Amiibo release. That would be so awesome.

I have all the currently released characters except from Wii Fit, Villager and Little Mac.

Little Mac is ridiculously expensive on Amazon (£50 - around $75)

Odds are that they will make each Koopaling and make them each exclusive at a different store. So that way everyone has a chance to get a Bowser Jr. but if you want to catch them all you have to go through some hoops.

I just got a shipping notice that TRU is sending me a Pit, the one they wouldn't let me cancel when I found one elsewhere. I'll most likely take it back to a TRU store and let someone else snag it (hopefully not a scalper...)
 
I couldnt help myself, I pre ordered bowser from amazon. Now I got 4 amiibos from wave 3, 1 for my bro (shiek) and 3 for me (bowser, ddd, shulk). I think my bro might pre order mega man and sonic tho


Also ihope bowser jr is in wave 4. Hes one of my faves :) and no multiple ones either, id want them all :(

You should keep it and help out Gaffers that might need him or save him for trade just in case you don't get one of the next figures.
 
So yeah, nabbed Captain Falcon from Amazon last night.

Apparently, there was a GameStop in my area that had Pit in stock yesterday. I'm gonna try to run down there today on the off-chance no one has grabbed it yet.
 
Anywhere to preorder Rosalina, Meta Knight and Toon Link in the UK? Amazon has them as coming soon but I don't know if that means preorders have been allocated or just not gone up yet. Nintendo UK store shows them as Sold Out.
