To open my second Pit or not, that is the question. It does have a damaged box. And I really don't need 2 in boxes (although I have a few of them, LOL).

This Amiibo stuff makes me crazy. I just wish their were other uses for them. I barely use them in Smash because I'm not that good to begin with, so Level 9 CPU is already way too good for me, LOL .

And Pit has no uses in anything else, so it makes it kinda of hard. Although, I do love the idea of training a Pit Amiibo in Smash, as opposed to Mario who is common.

Edit: I wish there was a Kid Icarus game coming, and it was nothing like the 3DS one. LOL.

I remember they did Minimates or whatever with (U?)MvC3. Now part of me hopes Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom 2 happens on Wii U so we can get amiibos for those. Perhaps have them work the same say as in SSB or maybe unlock special alt costumes/colors.

GamesSpot sold them as bundles with the game or the controller, and fry´s seem to had a shipment a week ago, but both seem to sold out fast.

Yes! Pit and Captain Falcon shipped from TRU (ordered them when they were on the site a few days back). Now I just need to manage to get Little Mac without paying a fortune. Really hoping Nintendo does at least one more restock for him, as the situation seems kind of dire for him right now, unfortunately.

TRU shipped my Pit as well! Best Buy ended up coming through with our order, though, so we ended up not needing this Pit. Now we have an extra Pit to go with our extra Little Mac. Hopefully we can trade those for other amiibos we want, though really the only ones I think we want that we don't have preordered are WFT and Marth, and those two will probably be harder to get (well, and NA Rosalina but that seems so unlikely right now, but hey if anyone manages to snag an extra one...!).

Other than GameStop Bundles and Best Buy warehouse order, not really.

Edited: I would like to mention that I found it amusing that GameStop actually make one bundles that people would hesitated to buy, 4 Controllers and Adapter Bundle for 120 dollars or so?

However they had two nice bundles for people who need controllers or the bundle itself. They had Smash Bros U Bundle for 99 dollars, and also they had 2 Controllers and 1 Adapter for 80 dollars.

I went to the Nintendo World store yesterday in hopes of getting Zelda, Falcon, and Pit. Falcon and Pit were out of stock (no giant surprise) and the Zeldas all had wonky triforces or other paint defects so I left empty handed.

The real news to me was just how cleaned out the store was. They used to have an Amiibo section on the bottom floor and a larger Amiibo section on the top floor. When I went yesterday the top floor section was completely gone and the section on the bottom floor was only partially stocked. Wow. We have really reached a special level when the Nintendo world store can't even keep a full stock.

I did it was on the website with a 2 controller bundle for 80$. I needed 2 so that worked out well for me. I also have the smash bros. Bundle so i have my 2 now for me and 8 friends. I have 5 new gc controllers and 3 old ones.

Got my Luigi, Zelda, and Pikachu amiibos from Amazon! Zelda's eyes are kinda weird and Luigi's L is off center but other than that they look great.

Just need Wii Fit Trainer to show up in the mail now and my collection will be complete (for a little while anyways).

I'd say "uncommon". Some places have a ton of him (Target coming to mind) and online doesn't seem too big of an issue (GameStop seems to have him online & Drago said Amazon has him), but other places are out of him. I think I grabbed the last one in my town, though I saw about 4 of them at Target about last week or so.

There was only 4 reviews, 2 of which praise them for receiving their item (one mention they got their villager) and the other 2 was not as positive due to poor packaging. I order a little Mac for $16 seeing as he seem to be as rare as the wave 1 trio. Missed the boat on the gamestop online order. Personally, I want the figure to put on my desk so I'm not worry about the package, I just want it to actually show up in one piece is all.
