Well, hopefully we get more info on what days Wave 3 are actually coming. If anyone follows reddit, please keep us updated in this thread. Would be much appreciated.

Yeah, they had the freedom to design poses with stable footing for these ones, instead of being bound to the ssb trophies' action shots.

Outside of Toad, I'm only considering Yoshi since he's my favorite. Granted Peach's amiibo looks great so far, but that's just a prototype image, not a stock image.

Definitely not getting every single one of the Mario Party ones (Toad is a must), but I at least need that Luigi for the improved pose.

Yeah, I'll be focusing on the Smash line for the time being. I will probably get Toad since I have Captain Toad, but not the others any time soon.

Yes, for sure. Well, not for me because my state sucks, but there's A LOT of employees of retail stores on reddit and they are very accommodating towards amiibo hunters.
Rosalina has a(empty) peg already at one Target. Get excited!
Oh my god. This gives me hope that, they won't all be pre-orders. I hope they get a bunch in stock. I will be at Target at least 2 hours early. I know that sounds crazy, but fuck it. Not taking any risks, and I really want her badly.
If my store has a bunch, I will make sure to grab as many as I can (I won't go over board, as I would feel bad for others in my area). But I'll be looking out for my amiibros/amiigals. And of course, anything I get extra, is 100% free to you guys.

I just went to Gamestop and paid off my Wave 3 reservations. They couldn't tell me whether or not they'd have them on February 1st...
Also, while I was out and about, I saw marked down amiibos for the first time. A store nearby had Mario, Yoshi, Peach, Donkey Kong, and Diddy Kong (???) for $9.99.

Marth seems to be the only rare reprint coming soon. People are still finding Falcon and Pit here and there. I guess it just depends on which ones you're looking for specifically.
Similar experience earlier today. Wouldn't confirm if Feb 1st was the official date when I was at the Gamestop where I have some Wave 3 on reserve.

IMO the Super Mario Peach and Luigi look better, but Smash Bowser looks better than the upcoming version

My only fear is Target canceling my Rosalina preorder as well as TRU canceling my Lucario. At the very least I'm going to my local TRU and target on release to get them just in case.

When these were announced I was all "eh, I'll grab Fox but that's it". Then I got Link for Hyrule Warriors... Christmas gifts happened... Then Yoshi... And then last night I ran out to pick up dinner and came home with Diddy Kong.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought this. Super Mario Peach is definitely going to be the first one I grab. Hopefully she'll be as common as the Smash Bros one.

Bowser looks cool but so does his Smash one, so does every other Bowser figure I already have. That is the problem I have with that set, they seriously just look like they were taken from the other set of Mario figures I already have, really really boring.
I have so many Mario and Pokemon figures already, more Amiibos of them hold little interest to me. I want other characters Nintendo, thats why the Smash Bros. ones are so cool!

Do you guys think we should make a list of the ONE amiibo we all want for Wave 3 and/or Wave 4 so we can all have a good chance in helping others out? I know we will only be able to get 1 or 2, so it would be easier to help people without violating store rules.
This actually helps confirm the idea that wave 4 might be in 2 parts. Also that feb 06 release date we've seen a couple places... Wouldnt it be magical if a Nintendo rep saw this thread and just replied here with the truth

Actually, if anyone absolutely wants a Rosalina like its their favorite character, you don't have a pre-order, and you won't be able to go on Sunday Feb 1st -- PM me and I'll compile a list. I will line up early and try to get you guys extras. I have my GF with me so we can split up. Also it's 100% free. You don't have to pay. Just pay it forward.
But only PM me if you don't have a PM, and if she's someone you really have your heart set on. I will try to take care of those people first and then give the rest my extras to whoever else needs them.

So Wave 2 releases on Sunday the 1st? Stores don't open till noon on Sundays in North Dakota, but I can pick up the non-retail exclusive ones before that in Minnesota.
I didn't take it that way at all! Just figured it might be easier to keep that list updated. Since lists and posts can get buried as a thread moves. Whereas the google document stays constant. Let me go add it now!

Thats awesome I don't have the funds to do it for free right now but I can prolly front about 15-20 comfortably if possible to get ahold of that many and ill just take cost and shipping. But ill do what I can.
