Really? I think the cake goes to Walmart. My Best Buy has been great with my Amiibo preorders.

Anyway, I'm out. I was going to collect them all but its too stressful for something I won't even really use. Going to keep the ones I like and only order Ness and Wario from the next wave. Selling a lot of 6 of my Amiibos in the b/s/t thread for cost, just to get rid of them.

It was fun for a while.

it's a shame that nintendo is god awful with supply and drives fans to walk away, but that's what they've been doing for awhile.

I've got a few that I wouldn't have bought right away if they weren't scarce, so I may sell too when I bail on this circus. I'll be happy just keeping DK, Diddy, Fox from the Smash line.

Such horrible timing as my finances are tight having just passed Christmas and my sons birthday and the ones he wants are horribly over priced now.What's worse is I live no where near a Target,Best Buy or TRU so my hopes to pay retail for Meta,Lucario or Rosalina are no go.

Maybe I can at least get some 4th wave preorders if im lucky.Also still need a little Mac if anyone has a spare they'd sell please keep me in mind.

I'm sure there are tons. These things feed on nostalgia. What 15 year old is going to know Ness or Little Mac, besides their exclusion in Smash?

I'm 29 and have a baby son...but they're not for him :]
Heck, once we put him down each night, my wife and I bust out the Super Mario 3D World!

You did not I just returned and Nada :/ no in store orders yet ill check again after work in 3 hours. The specific manager that told me they would be available Monday will be there then hoping he can shed some light.

I use my children as an excuse to buy Amiibos. lmao.

I enjoy the hunt and we all benefit.
 
Almost 30 with two young boys 6 months and a 2 year old. Happily married wife thinks I'm nuts sometimes but got me 2 for Christmas so she's awesome. I will eventually give them to the boys.

I'm about to turn 34, I'm married and have a two year-old. My wife is okay with my hobby, and my daughter can identify most of the amiibos I have. Her favorite is Princess Peach.
 
32 here. With a dog as a daughter. :p
I jumped quite late into this (December) and just completed the first 2 waves today with Pit.

Now to wait if there aren't any problems with the wave 3 preorders...and be on the lookout to preorder wave 4.

I'm opening and using them too. ;)
