Tenso is a forwarding company, which you can purchase from other services, obtain a japanese address and use it to deliver to their factories. Which then they forward to you.
BigInJapan is a import/export store. They can ship directly to you, you can not purchase stuff on amazon for instance using BigInJapan, they do have a forwarding service, but prominently, they are a shop. So they can bypass the law.

Oh when I'm at home I have all the site scrapers you guys are using running and am at my PC. I check like ever 30 minutes.
It's good for me and my work hours that I'm normally awake from 3PM-9AM.

or another plan is we can all partner up with someone whom is awake when we sleep. I know there has to be some overnightgaf in this thread. And we can take shifts refreshing pages lol

I think it's going to be okay. The only pre-order that sold out unfairly quickly was Rosalina, although the Toys R Us fiasco didn't inspire confidence. 
I'll probably just keep an eye on the usual jp sites and import them all for Wave 4 though, unless i see them on Gamestop first, who oddly enough seems to be the most reliable retailer besides maybe Walmart.

I don't understand why so many people are in despair without a preorder. I have never preordered any of the figures so far. I just walk into the store on release day and buy what I want. EB hasn't failed me yet. Watch the website, keep on top of the release date, and go there early when they are opening the boxes. I have the full set so far using this method.
it depends. If you're ordering multiple items, then Tenso is the way to go. But if not, then AmiAmi is the way to go.

In a perfect world I would put my phone number on here. Pass out from hitting refresh to be awoken by a random gaffer telling me "wave 4 is up for preorder" and hangs up. Knowing me, I would stair at my phone thinking "the hell?!" Then my eyes would widen accompanied by the thought "of shit yeah!"! Again though in a perfect world. But I know if I do that a special someone that we know lurks in here would call me instead lol so I'll reframe from doing that lol.

You don't want to know what I'm capable of. If I got bored enough, I could probably setup something that emails anyone who subscribes whenever new Amiibo show up in a US store. Too lazy for that right now.

Which will be in May I love stuff like that though currently I, a friend, and a chem major are working on a joint senior project to make a paint that changes color based on a magnetic frequency. sure. The wiiu has a very low user base, these have primarily been featured for one game so far, and nintendo is conservative in production of everything anyways. It would just be nice for them to come out and say they've had issues but got us covered. Maybe even sell them on their site direct.
Just mentioning bringing marth back kind of does the opposite of reassuring us, as not every character will have similar functions in upcoming games.

Yeah though this definitely would be cool Id imagine not super complex either just time consuming on the security part of it. Just an SQL database with the emails, an entry line, and whatever language you choose to send the email agter checking the pages. Id imagine figuring out what you meed to check the pages and security of the list would be the most complex bits. I would imagime stored procedures for all that would be a pain the butt though :/.
I was afraid about that. I got an email from AmiAmi today, saying that they couldn't secure a Meta Knight Amiibo for me, but King Dedede is still on his way, so they refunded me the money for Kirby's winged doppelganger.
Now I have to get up early on the day of Meta Knight's release date, and hope Best Buy will have some on the store shelf.

I need to rent out an internet cafe and hire half a dozen cash corner laborers to F5 the major retail sites while I pace up and down the aisles smacking a wooden baton in my hand.
There's no shortage of ways to do it. If I keep it small scale, I'd probably just run everything off my home PC and have people PM their email. Bypass the security and hosting aspects altogether. You have to pay for SQL, so I'd use MongoDB for the backend. Mostly for storing links for each Amiibo.
I like your confidence I have none of that.
Or MySql free version is pretty awesome for small scale as I understand. I'll have to look into MongoDB I've heard of it havent touched it before. Know a couple ppl whom swear by it though.
As I said though currently busy with magnetic frequencies

I'm finding it difficult to set up an address for this Amazon.JP account.. I have the page in English so I'm not sure what some of the options I'm supposed to be filling in are. Edit: I'm using a Tesco address. Well, I'm trying to.
Then keep talking about them! Its really the only way well get anything done complain to every store that doesnt limit it to 1 per ip address. Continue to tell stores and complain about the way they handle things until this is standard. The ultimate gial being to make it not worth there time and effort for little monetary gain make them waste both time and gas to have to try to sell these. Its the only way anything positive will ever be done.Despite whatvpeople say about sales being the reigining goal for stores they actually tend to lose more customers over this kind of stuff and that is more valuable to them than selling all stock to one person. Sonif they realize somethings up they will do something about it. The key to let people know they exist not ignore them
