Hello all!
Brand spanking new member here, I went through a bit of effort and patience to try and join, specifically for this amiibo community.
This is also my first post on GAF.
I've been following and lurking as a non-member since Mid-December and I'm super happy that I can get a word in on Amiibo talk. Amiibos became a bit of a hobby after I suffered from Congestive Heart Failure due to severe water retention and I currently am unable to find work due to my doctor's advice not to stress my body out so soon by reducing myself to basic labor, I was a 2 year third shifter and it slowly began to kill me in terms of stress of poor diet. But thanks to being "Paid to click" savvy and a wonderful supportive girlfriend (She worships the ground I walk on, and I don't feel like I deserve it, but it makes me love her all the more) or 3 years, I can continue to live my life semi-normally. Amiibos are one of the things we wanted to start collecting.
My current amiibo goal is to essentially collect a play set and a sealed set (plans may alter due to the rarity of some amiibos).

I bought bulk (NOT TO SCALP, I hate them as much as anyone else), but I'm hoping to trade spares for Villager (I'm not picky where they come from so long as I can dis/play them) (see what I did thar?), and my girlfriend and I where tinkering with the idea of custom Amiibos.
I would also like to help out any Amiibros/Amiibras (It slips off the tongue easier for me) who are short of obtaining any Wave 3 guys, if I can.
I won't lie though, Sonic is the reason I haven't opened any o my Amiibos, I want my favorite Smash Bros to be the first Amiibo I open
I hope to make many friends here

Haha, yeah that tree usually has my friends saying "OMG WTF?!". What's even better is pocketing the tree as another Villager and throwing it back.

sometimes we throw the tree back and forth and see who misses the catch
My buddy and I both play as DK and do this with bob-ombs! It's really easy to tell who missed.

Supposedly they're going to introduce a new loyalty program in September. I'm hoping ti would be something to cut down on the scalping after the holy trinity and the Majora's Mask 3DS and Figure.

Nin-nin games told me that they weren't shipping Wave 3 till Feb 12th. I'm not collecting anymore. But thought I would give some the head sup. Pretty lame. But is what it is.
Maybe some will get it sooner depending on when they placed their order.
That's insane. Wave 3 is out on Friday this week.

I even put my order in like 3 weeks ago. So I'm pretty sure it was early on. But yeah, Customer Service told me Feb 12th is when they ship anything Wave 3 out. SMH.
That was only for Wal Mart in the US. I guess they had a delay that bumped them up to the 20th. Pretty sure for most places, Wave 3 is out Feb 1st. Although for some strange reason, other regions are already shipping out Wave 3 now. I guess they technically got them before NA.
EDIT: Nvm, I guess Amazon UK also had it listed as the 20th. No idea then. Strange indeed.

Can anyone give me a heads up if they see anywhere in-store or online with available amiibos that are out this week? G*ME cancelled most of my order with no warning, I've managed to source Toon Link and Bowser, so the only ones I'm after are LUCARIO, IKE, SHEIK and ROSALINA.

Pretty sure they said explicitly that preorders were over. Most of us I think are trying our luck on release day.

Well, this makes my head hurt, but I guess that guy really did purchase a 100 Rosalina Amiibo's. Let's hope that Natural Selection will take its course.

Those are European rosalinas though. You can tell because the leftmost rosalina says "Super Smash Bros Collection". The US version just says "Rosalina" on it. He won't make very much off of those.
