No I was just talking generally about Wave 3 actually. I missed all the preorders, so my only chance to get any will be to find them in store. So I'm trying to figure out where exactly will be my best shot.

I'm also wondering when Walmarts will actually put them up, because my three Walmarts are all 24 hours.

Gotcha. It seems like Gamestop has the best online tracker. I was able to find Pit for people at stores through that when he hit shelves. Best Buy and others are more random chance. Sometimes they just get stuff and keep it in the back until someone feels like putting it out.
 
I've just picked up the first part of wave 3. It's very easy to find them in Europe. Ike is not as shitty in person as he looks in some of the pictures. Shiek and Lucario look good enough. Rosalina is good too but her head is noticeably bigger than Peach's. Toon Link is flawless but Bowser is even better, I think he is the best looking Amiibo so far and way bigger than DK.

Yup. Definitely my concern with my three Walmarts being 24 hours. I have this feeling that I could be suck waiting until some bum feels like dragging them out. I guess I'll try GameStop as wel :/

Very good assessment on the quality of Wave 3 figures. I only have Rosalina and Lucario, and I'd say Rosalina looks pretty darn good (paint & quality wise) and Lucario looks pretty plain.

Posting pics of your score would be very much welcomed here :)

I didn't order any from wave 2. I've been sitting on the sidelines since the initial batch. The only date on Amazon currently is February 28th which is clearly a placeholder.

I guess if there's any exclusive you definitely want, I'd head there first. Except Metaknight and Rosalina, I believe they are scheduled for Feb 20th.

That date is just to trick lazy scalpers, Rosie is set for the 1st but I'm pretty sure Metaknight is coming out later than the rest of the exclusives.

Seems they're all up and have images now, so you should be able to pre-order. Just the mario series arent up, but I was only interested in toad, which I managed to get from Game (Still feel bad giving them money), but I had some discount, so got it for £8.

Charizard looks pretty cool too, but can't justify it to myself to buy it.

I argue the same point. They stopped becoming waves since the 2nd one.
Also Nin-Nin responded to my email in that they are going to start shipping orders in Feb, so hopefully Rosalina and Shulk will be here not too long.

Fire Emblem Awakening for 3DS is $28
Plus more are on sale but my brain can't think of what else at the moment...

So I bought both of those, now I just need to save to buy a Wii U and a 3DS! Hahaha spending all my $$$ on Amiibo! Thanks Nintendo! (I play on a friend's Wii U for now)

EDIT: Pokemon Omega Ruby Sapphire bla bla bla is $28 also
 
Who were our Gamestop Reps in here again?
Just asking since I won't be home for about a month and while I know policy is they hold preorders only for 48 hours. I'm trying to contact higher to make sure they can hold they past that. Since we all know how much a pain in the ass these can be.
 
Recently bought my first Amiibo (Wii Fit Trainer) and had to pay the scalper price to get it from eBay. Was happy knowing all the ones I really want have been pre-ordered and then I get an e-mail from Gamestop UK today saying my Rosalina has been cancelled.

God damn it. I thought the UK was Safe!
Now very worried about my other pre-orders with gamestop which are Shulk, Meta Knight and King Dedede

You may be able to find some on eBay, but the game came out almost 2 years ago now so likely a no-go.

Here's my collection, they were a bit dusty so had to clean them. Won't let that happen to my amiibo though. It's just I haven't touched these in a year and a half and my room does get very dusty

Nice. I wonder if Amazon will price match Smash. I have it for 3DS (but I traded in my 3DS for as n3DS XL). My Wii U could use the attention. =P
 
Gamestop (UK) cancelled my Rosalina preorder.

So this is what it feels like. Still got my Sheik and Toon Link today. Toon Link especially looks so good.
 
My Rosaline came today (Amazon.fr) and she's a beauty!

I'm a bit disappointed with the paint job on her dress though, some of the stars are faded :(

These are pre-Amiibos but because they're so niche (an uncommon Pokemon game on an uncommon console) meant that they had a very small following. Heck, I bough NFC figures over a year before I even had a Wii U. Keep in mind that these are random too. Unlike Amiibos where you know what figure you're buying, these are all I. The same Pokeball with randomness playin a huge factor. There goes my £4

I keep mine on top of my Xbox One. Nice collection though. I can't imagine the patience you had to obtain those.

The fading is 100% normal. It's supposed to be like that. I had two (one gave to Azula) and they were both exactly the same fading, I think it's nice and it's not easy to create fading like that. I just looked at other pics of other people's Rosies and there's fading too

I cheated a little. I needed them asap for coverage on my site, so got them from a friend in Japan who was stocking them for their site as it is. Japanese capsules had an indicator (different colours) so you always knew what you were getting. Plus, in Japan they came in three waves. Wave 1 had Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Torchic, Piplup, Lucario, Victini & Shiny Pikachu and came out in April 2013. Wave 2 had Eevee, Mewtwo, Croagunk, Zoroark, Litwick, Genesect & Shiny Eevee and came out in May 2013. Wave 3 had Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Darkrai, Shaymin and Shiny Genesect and came out in June 2013.

White Kyurem I got with my special edition copy from GAME and Black Kyurem a friend gave me to finish my collection (I don't count the shinies else I'd go mad)

Whoa! I didn't know that about them. That's nuts! If I ever see any in a Gamestop, I'll probably pick up one or two. I'm not going to go crazy like I am with amiibos though.

The biggest issue is that Nintendo releasing them early here means we get screwed. I'm not saying I'm against import or anything, no at all but means it's going go harder to buy them on launch than it already is. It wouldn't surprise me f that image is really of 100 EU Rosalinas. You can list that on eBay for a huge win.

Is Mega Man and Shulk supposed to be part of wave 3? Because the store I went to said they only have Sheik, Bowser, Lucario, Ike and Toon Link. Europe by the way.

There were a few of these I really wanted, but Nintendo never even made them available in Canada. So dumb.

Mega Man, Shulk, Meta Knight, DDD, and Sonic are late Feb in Europe. Wave 3B.

What about Rosalina? They didn't mention Rosalina so I guess it's already sold out before it's shipped out to retailers? LOL

edit: Also I have to say Lucina's mold looks so much better than Marth's. What the fuck, Nintendo?

Rosalina is Jan 23 I believe. But she was released early I guess because I received my EU Rosie on Jan 19 in the USA. Others already received her too.

Lucina's Amiibo pics so far are the prototype model which is always the best quality. For the actual production models, they are unfortunately much worse (like Ike)

It's already been answered, but I'll chime in and mention that I have a section about these up on amiibros that I called 'Pre-amiibo'. :)

I managed to get a full set of the standard figures at my local Gamestop b/c the employees peeked in each blind bag and labeled the Pokeballs. I basically bought the full set in one trip and they gave me an empty display box as a free bonus. :)
Unfortunately, I never tracked down the 'Shiny' variants of Eevee, Pikachu, or Genesect and now they cost a fortune. :S

Which one did you go? Mine was in Ghent. I went back after work (was going to buy Ike and Lucario just to be sure I have those), but they were gone. I asked at the counter if they were sold and and was told they slipped up and aren't allowed to sell those units until Friday. They forgot to take back one Bower that was hanging there, but that will be a common one, right? I think if I had taken it, they would have noticed and told me the same story. :( If you check the website, you'll see that you can put in those in the shopping cart, while Rosalina and Lucario aren't available till 23rd of January. Sorry for the trouble. :( Those jokers. :(

I went to Leuven. But at least this saves me a trip on Friday and I bought a 'couple' of other Amiibo. I started today with just a Pikachu. I now own 11 of them with three on the way.

Damn, so lucky. When I heard about Wehkamp doing a 3=2 thing they only had wave 1 amiibo's left :(

I'm actually buying Bowser and Lucario from GM now so that stings. Could have had three as well.
 
Hey guys I got in last night one Fox and one Pit so happy thanks to some friends over at gametz.com.

Still on the hunt for the elusive little Mac and congrats on finding a little Mac I'd pay $20 in a heartbeat so don't feel bad!As for the GC adapter I was forced to buy the 2 controller/adapter bundle at GameStop for $80.:(
