Well, it's not the holidays anymore so I'd say there's a decent chance depending on your area. When the first wave came out, I popped into Target right when they opened and was able to snag what is now known as the trinity. I plan to do the same (go right at open) on Feb 1st in hopes I can score a Rosalina.
Then I just have to hope that Best Buy doesn't fuck up again and my Bowser, Sheik and Toon Link are all in stock as promised (by the release date update emails).

To Rosalina and that girl from Muramasa and the Kill la Kill...whatever that is, and that creeping Villager, and Link all the way in the back, and that Agnes figure (?), and those figures from that Pokemon Rumble game (?).
I had a very odd experience getting lucky and finding a gc adaptor on launch day. Not realizing they would be so rare, I just walked into GS and asked for one. They said all but one had been a preorder, and that had sold at the midnight release. Also said one was in stock an hour and 40 min away, but I couldn't reserve it before hand. I stood around discussing with my friend about whether we were really gonna go for it. Decided to, went outside to decide where to eat first. Before we got far, one of the GS employees came sprinting out(insanely out of breath for the 20 foot run) and said he found one stuffed in a box of Xbones. He assumed a fellow employee stashed it. After that, i filled out my only GS customer survey ever...

Yeah I've been trying to play with my MHTri classic controller but something just doesn't feel right when playing (maybe the A button is too small?).

Embarrassing story incoming:
I got the adaptor/game/controller bundle on launch day. The adaptor takes two USB ports, so I flipped the Wii U around to plug it in and realized that my external hard drive was taking one of only two USB slots! I thought there were four USB slots!!! I was kind of pissed because the clerk at the store convinced me to get the bundle and now it was useless!
So I played Smash Bros. with the GamePad for weeks. Then, one day, I was looking through all of my Virtual Console games on the Wii side. I suddenly realized that it wouldn't be possible to see these games without an SD card! I quickly jumped up, flicked open the lid on the front of the Wii U, and saw TWO MORE USB PORTS!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so glad I never took that thing back. I would have been so mad at myself.

Got to put yourself out there sometimes and be ready for rejection. I liked a girl in high school who liked one of my best friends. I pursued her for almost a year before she even looked at me. Looks like Wave 4 amiibos are on ShopTo, though slowly... I couldnt pre-order pacman for a while, kept coming up with the message "Cannot ship to your country", despite being in the UK, but I kept trying and it went through. Can't get others to pre-order just yet... Pre-ordering Robin/Lucina for now, but not sure I'll want them...

Yes! I scored a Little Mac this morning for $20 flat! Sure, it's an inflated price, but that includes shipping. So I am 100% ok with that. ^_^

As I said though, it seems they're in the middle of putting them on the site, I notice the Pacman amiibo image is updated now and hes the only one I can pre-order (Thankfully the main one I wanted out of this wave), the others still have no image and wont let me pre-order any of them yet.
(Soon as I posted that, it let me pre-order Robin, ha ha. Lucina's the last one I may be interested in... ...and possibly charizard, but I think I'd more prefer a Mewtwo if they decide to make an amiibo for that)

We are pretty much at a "wait and see" point with them. Assuming my order doesn't get cancelled I hope to hear from them in the next couple of weeks near the beginning of February since IIRC that was when they should know how much extra stock they will be getting.
If it is mid-February and we still haven't heard anything, then I'm probably going to cancel since there isn't much point waiting for characters they probably won't be getting. (Villager and WFT)

Edit 2: Wow, I didn't think I cared so much, but panicking over potentially missed pre orders--when I'm pretty sure Amazon Europe will bail me out at some point in time--well, I'd call that an amiibro badge of honour.

I'm not expecting anything back. When I stop and think about it, they are a photography store and if they had the amiibo in stock they would have shipped it already. Since it's not in stock, they're waiting for more supply. Since its in back order they won't be getting more supply. Sorry if I'm not being optimistic, just trying to be realistic. But hey I hope I'm dead wrong and we ALL get our orders! Who knows I guess, it is Nintendo after all.
based wehkamp and their 3=2 promotion. Rosalina is expected to be delivered tomorrow. We'll see.

he does, I've got two preorders just to make sure I get him. I do like the standing up pose of the super mario line bowser too though. Will have to see which one I like more to keep.

None of my amiibos from Shopto or amazon have been shipped yet I'm gutted. Rosalina and Toon Link look so good. Apparently my local TRU gets stock in tomorrow according to the person I spoke to on the phone, so maybe I'll have to pop in there if they put them out straight away. Annoying though, especially since my Toon Link was preordered on Amazon over a month ago.

*figures out budget* Welp, I might be able to afford Shulk & Rosalina. I keep forgetting about other pre-orders I have (thank goodness for Amazon gift cards, MM 3D LE should only cost me $20 or $25). Not sure if I'll be able to afford any extras unless people are willing to pay a bit extra, especially if I'm trying to get a New 3DS XL on launch so I can get $75 for my OG 3DS.

I'm trying to decide if I should check my GameStop right at 10 AM when they open, since they tend to get their delivery from UPS around noon. Maybe I'll call them or wait & see about my reminder call.
It might differ from store to store. Mine opens at about 8 & I checked their amiibo selection a few times at 8:30 and 1/2 the time, they'd still be opening up boxes of stock.

I went to my local Bart Smit. They didn't have any. They aren't even expecting to get them until February because they're doing a software change. Intertoys and Carrefour didn't have a clue about deliviries. Still a productive afternoon, I found a Pit in Intertoys.
I just specifically ask them to open a box for them.
Are you talking about Rosalina? Cause I think she's Target only still.
