Well the devs did say the trailer was "inspired by the awesome Halo Believe ad". Didn't Bulletstorm do something similar?I find it a bit cheap to just steal the music from the trailer of another highly popular gaming franchise but still props to the almost unheard-of Polish composer, one of the best original music pieces of 2007
as someone who loved Banjo and even Cargo, this game is made for me
So basically an Nvidia exclusive game. No thanks.
Ok guys, I got an extra key for BESIEGE for a special GAFer.
In order to win it, quote this post and give me your best concept in MS paint for a killing machine that also does the flower hedges properly. I'll pick my favorite if there's more than one entry and be back tomorrow to see who won.
Is it touchscreen friendly? Wouldn't mind playing this on the go with my tablet. It is playable and quite fun. There is a bug like undo and redo button is not working properly and add a mess to my creation instead. Other than that, the game is working just fine.
15 level campaign is a bit short but it is only $6.99 and they promise a lot more in the future. (Seem like there are 4-5 more sets of campaign from the start screen and There is moon map that will be available in the future.)
I have played for 10 levels. I think the level design is too simple(however, it is only the first set of campaign.). There is not many block in this game yet but I can create many crazy things from them. I hope they will add more kind of block and weapon in the future. This alpha also lack of tutorial. I have to find out myself how thing work in this game.
I was thinking the same thing. Game looks like it would play really well on iPad.Is it touchscreen friendly? Wouldn't mind playing this on the go with my tablet.
Sorry, what does this mean?Ok guys, I got an extra key for BESIEGE for a special GAFer.

Ok I have a little problem. I paid for both through Amazon pay, I got the confirmation that my card was charged through HumbleBundle. But I never got a link for the download or a code for the download of either yet? I thought I'd have it by now but I do not.
Does anyone know what I'm missing? Where do I get my codes?

I used Amazon and got an email with the subject "Your Besiege order is ready" from HumbleBundle which had the link to the download page. Maybe it's in your junk folder?
you may now marvel at my engineering ingenuity

Yeah, that sucks - maybe the bank held it thinking it was a duplicate charge and you'll need to call them. I'd try the contact@humblebundle.com first I guess

Top comment on the RockPaperShotgun article, seems to sum up the game pretty well

I don't think this turned out the best but I saved it in PNG for max quality anyway. Simple concept - cutting blades on the front for the troops and a nice double column of spinning blades to trim the hedges and leave them perfectly straight.
And yes I know Paint has text tools.

whoops - didn't mean to DP it
That this works at all, and yet does so in the most kamikaze and crazy way possible, is hilariously awesome.

You might like mine then :commendable, but I noticed a distinctive lack of a scorpion tail-mounted flamethrower

Scary was pretty much what I was going for. ^ ^this uh, thing is just scary
wish I could build machines of that size but the game becomes nearly unplayable on my laptop if I use too many parts

Green is hedges. Hedge-cutters have an adjustable height. The rest should be pretty self-explanatory.

Haven't used MS Paint in years, so my drawing skills are...ah, somewhat rusty. It looked much more elegant in my head
The main feature are the rotating arms at the front, each lined with saw blades, equally adept at shaving delicate blades of long unkept grass as they are at separating heads from the delicate necks of the fools that dare to charge your approaching death machine. The rotating arms allow for an adjustable cutting width, perfect for a lawn or battlefield of any size, whichever suits your home and gardening needs. Two cannons on the center cross beams provide long range protection while the sides are protected by more saw blades and outward facing flamethrowers to clear the unwanted weeds along fencelines, along with the fence. A pair of wheels in the back provide extra balance, to counter the weight of the cutting arms in the front

Nice! It doesn't lose the momentum that way. Try turning up the speed in the wheel settings if you haven't already.
I took a shot at it. Didn't quite get it, but it's entertaining at least.

It's surprisingly hard to make a good scoop that's arrow-proof due to the weight of the armour. Maybe some of the powered parts would work better there since those seem to be immune.
wow amazing I didn't even think about someone trying to copy these designs in game!
I'm going to try Orca's!
