You guys know Nintendo UK store is run by the same company as Zavvi? The Hut group? It's just Zavvi is worst cause they ship from the UK's channel island, so they pay cheaper taxes and such.

I'm pretty sure it's the rarest one overall from the first 18 (we'll see what happen to current waves, but my bets are on Rosalina).
Yes, I think they want the shelf space for something else, and they still have some stock from wave 1/2. They don't care if there's less choice. There's far less Amiibos on display now, in most shops around here, anyway (except in real video game shops, but they're out of stock quickly)
In Europe, wave 4 usually refer to Megaman, Sonic, Dedede, Metaknight and Shulk, which are scheduled for february 20th. If Wario, Charizard and co are wave 5, we need another ID for Super Mario series...

Yeah I got two Hentailinas from them. Heading to Argos on my break.
I went Amiibo hunting this morning, specifically for Bowser and Lucario. I don't like ordering online because the boxes get damaged easily, my local Toys R Us only had Bowser in stock while Argos sold out after the resellers got to them
I really hope Mew becomes an Amiibo at some point.

I've offered my WFT on here for £15 delivered and nobody bit so I'm just going to put her on Ebay for 99p start and see what happens.

I managed to get my pre orders in on the Nintendo store thankfully. Cancelled my Shopto orders as I'd prefer them all to come from the same company (I know I'm odd). Even ordered Ness and I don't even care about Earthbound, I just feel like I should have him.
All I need now is Toad from the Party series and Meta Knight who I still haven't managed to find anywhere, and I've managed to get all the Amiibos I want so far. I've had generally a pretty easy ride with getting them so far here in the UK, but I know how hard you guys have had it elsewhere

I'm going to hit my local Smyths on the way home to check for Rosalina, and grab Sheik while I'm there. If I get lucky and the Argos order comes through, I'll possibly sell it.
I've preordered Lucina, Robin and Charizard from Nintendo though. As much as I'd prefer to check these things over in person before buying, it's just not worth the headache with all these short packed figures and the scalpers.

man, our local shop got dozens of rosalinas , lucarios, ikes and co.
I was just grabbing one of each new amiibo when some jerk came and bought ALL bowsers at once.

You MIGHT get lucky. That's where I found 2 Captain Falcons the first week of his release, but I checked yesterday around 3:30 & nothing.
It helps me view more posts at once, especially for when posts are coming in fast while using Live Thread.
I kind of fixed it by upping the minimum font size to 12, but now the Usernames, tags, & such are a bit big.
Fast-moving threads are the reason the 100 posts per page option exists. I presume you're using that =P
Fun tips:
CTRL and + = increase text size
CTRL and - = decrease text size
CTRL and 0 = reset text size
Also best keyboard shortcut imo: CTRL+SHIFT+T = reopen closed tab.

Yup, totally aware of those. Discovering that closed tab reopening shortcut was a nice treat.

It would be nice, but it's not on them to do it. Nintendo could require limits and set hard street dates like plenty of other companies do.
Nintendo is fucking this up and causing all these retailers to have the same issues.

I would. I bought a Mac for £10 and sold it on eBay for £32(not including PnP). I got annoyed at seeing 'buy it now' for £20 but when bidding still profits you more than scalpers then it's worth doing it.

Have both pre-ordered and have heard nothing.
Amazon has been late with every Amiibo so far, but they did deliver on the pre-order, even if Captain Falcon was 2 weeks late.
Awesome, figured it out. It was that DirectWrite flag being enabled again. Guess it got turned on again when Chrome silently updated or something.
I'm still tempted by Bowser, but I think what I'll do is eventually wait for a sale like buy 2 get 1 free or something, then nab him with Pikachu & Zelda or someone else I'm missing. I'm sure he'll be "useful" in the future, but I'm sure we won't be hard to find after release, especially if he has a 2nd version coming out a month later.

I didnt order from Amazin but I did From TRU whi says its shipping on the 1st yet people are picking them up in store today

Got my Rosalina from Game today, and a bunch of others from Amazon.
Got Wario pre-ordered on Nintendo's site, Pac-Man and Ness pre-ordered on GAME, Sonic pre-ordered on amazon and Bowser on it's way from Amazon, and Megaman and Dedede ordered on Argos. Plus my girlfriend said she is picking me up an amiibo for valentines day too. A lot more than I was originally intending to get ahaha
Man I'd love a classic Wario.

Super Mario wave 2 will probably include Rosalina and Wario, so if you missed those, they'll probably be slightly easier to find eventually if you just want them for the character and not the specific pose.
With that in mind, I'm curious how Smash Bros reacts to someone scanning Toad. He's the first non-Smash character Amiibo.
Joei bought on yesterday if im not mistaken I have everything preordered online at TRU and feel like stock will sell out before I get anything.
