I never saw the problem with that. First, we know Olie can be a hypocrite, but second, he wasn't really objecting to her being buddies with the guy, but to him training her and he was just as against himself training her. Bassicaly all he wanted is to keep her away from this line of work.

That makes me think...lol..how is Laurel going to balance her work with this? Everybody else on the team is either unemployed or has job he can ignore if necessary :D

Everything takes place at night. No.. like seriously... everything. And not even like.. till sunrise the next morning. It's all like.. 9pm Starling City time.. to like 1 or 2 am tops.

Laurel just power naps and makes her appearances as usual. And has the assistant do all the actual leg work on the cases.

Then Wildcat never was a vigilante. He was a hero and he quit the moment one of his subordinates did something heroes weren't supposed to do.

Except Ted said he was a Vigilante.. so he was based in vengeance. And Vengeance doesn't have to equate death either. So being shook as a result of his partner going past a personal line does not a hero make him.

Oliver has savings
Felicity has Ray 'Chillest Boss Ever' Palmer
Diggle is living with Lyla who is presumably doing very well
Roy has a bar job? and does street acrobatic shows
Laurel has a job where her showing up late or impaired can have serious ramifications
Good one Laurel

He said he's a vigilante because anybody trying to look for justice outside of law is classified as such. He didn't have a sappy origin story filled with tragic death or need to make up for his father's crimes. So when I think about it, this actually makes Grant the purest hero on the show. He just saw bad stuff and decided to do something with it using reasonable means. Which actually fits very well with WildCat's mentor role for other heroes he fulfills in comics.

Ted Grant doesn't give his origin story in the show but we know he has an origin story. We know he's a Retired HW Champ which basically leaves Earth One or Earth Two, which really aren't that different.

We probably won't see much of Ted Grant again, he's already been missing from a lot of episodes and we might not see him again or very little since the actor was cast in another show, Power I think. It has a short season though so maybe filming will wrap before Arrow. *shrug*

Laurel is an accident with toxic waste leaving her blind but developing sonar powers and "super senses" for the remaining ones away from being this show's Dare Devil, well okay not really. It's just from she and Matt Murdock both being attorneys by day and now vigilantes at night. >_>

Started watching the show today. Only two episodes in and I kinda like it. The only thing that annoys me is the extreme bullet dodging. The enemies can't shoot for shit, or Oliver has some sort of bullet deflector that I'm currently not known of.

Anyway, I think I'm going to continue with the show. Does it get bad in the later episodes/seasons?

While there are some weaker episodes here and there, overall each season improves over the previous one.

It makes a massive quality jump at the mid season mark, then another one at the start of season two, then another one at mid season again.

if you enjoy early S1 as i did, you're in for a real treat when the show kicks up halfway through S1 and again in S2

I learned my husband Crixus from Spartacus is on this show. I kind of like The Flash so I'm going to start watching this.

I was at the Wizard World comic con in Portland yesterday for the Caity Lotz and Stephen Amell Q&A panels.

Caity is so damn cool.
It sounds like she's not coming back on the show ever though, except she gave some hint she is in the Canaries episode in some form.

Stephen Amell is definitely cool as hell as well. It's funny because he must be in character all the time that his regular persona might as well be Oliver Queen. At least that's how he seemed on the panel, like you were just asking questions to Oliver Queen.
Someone asked if there was going to be anymore crossover events this season and Amell kinda said no/kinda dodged the question. But then he said there was going to be a major arc the later half of this season and into the beginning of the next that is the greatest homage to the Green Arrow comics. If I remember that worded correctly, maybe someone can correct me. He did mention he was trying to figure out how to word it without getting in trouble. He also more or less dropped the hint that he's going to bang Felicity (this season?). He said the only way it wouldn't happen is if it was Oliver's doing/screwing it up himself.

Awesome guy overall though, he had that room packed more than Karl Urban (who is equally awesome and funny as hell). Fan girls were going crazy over Amell, my god. Lots of older ladies with kids obsessed with him, lol. Some lady asked him if he got rid of his washing machine because he can just use his abs instead.

Canaries is a Count Vertigo episode. She'll be appearing as Laurel's hallucination. I belive we'll get a Sarah vs Laurel fight like the Ollie vs Arrow one in the season premiere.

Felicity and Ray are heading to The Flash for another episode later this year.

So does that mean outsiders arc?

Paging Adrian. Did you touch your heaviest drinks yet? How you survivin in all these days? :D
I'm considering slaughtering the goat to make Gods secure one of two outcomes:
-turning Laurel from the worst character the show ever had into somebody enjoyable to watch
-if they make her fail at least make it funny.
