I have a friend and I covered for Amiibos. All I need to do now is wait for my Sheik to come through and the hunting can finally rest. It's shame that it was mostly online orders because I like making hunting videos.

My cousin told me that they don't sell stuff before the street date, but he was unclear whether or not if it was locked by the system like Best Buy. It's a little hard to follow up with him because of our schedules and time zones. Maybe I can get some clarification tonight.

Welp, no luck at Target with Villager as expected. Went to GS & it was the main two employees I see and they said their database pretty much has nothing in terms of locked dates on Wave 3. They know they're getting Bowser because there was 5 pre-orders on him. They said I should call them every day (I'll try to limit that by doing research on here) to see when they get their shipments.
Also, the employee I talked to showed me his pic on his cellphone of his collection. About 10 of them, including Pit, Captain Falcon, & Marth.
& he added that they didn't even get any Little Macs at our location, but there was a few Pits & Cap. Falcons.

Here at GS in the US we dont have street dates tied to the wave 3 amiibos. This means, unless we get an email saying otherwise, we can sell when we get them. My store only has Bowser in transit currently :/ hopefully they ship soon or else I think it will be like the last wave where they all dont come out together.

Yikes, sounds like things are going to be more scarce than we though. Except for smaller districts perhaps. Hope none of us encounter any problems while trying to pick one up.

What's the situation so far with Canadians and Rosalina, and still no one has answered my question.
I ordered amiibos from amazon.fr/it/de. Would I have to pay an import fee at the door when I get them in the mail. It seems it's being delivered by i-parcel which is UPS it seems and not Canada Post to make the final delivery I believe.
Any Canadians have any experience about this? I already paid the shipping fee to amazon to handle it. Though things like importing things from the Square-Enix store ultimately screwed me over to paying Fed-Ex for import charges.

I assume they have some sneaky sources. I got my US copies of Xenoblade from there at launch when it was supposed to be exclusive to GameStop and the Nintendo Store.

As someone who does NOT live in NY- it's really frustrating how they punish the rest of us who aren't fortunate enough to live within driving/walking distance of the NWS. =/
First they got that Holy Trinity restock, and now they get the retailer exclusives while the rest of America has to deal with the confusing bullcrap of incompetent retailers and ravenous scalpers just to get a Lucario or a Rosalina.
I'm getting so tired of the way NoA is handling Amiibos, and frankly a lot of things lately.
It's almost enough to make me wanna just say eff it, and move to the UK.

I've gotten every one of these on sale... being in charge of electronics at a TRU has its perks

I'd be interested in learning how the market NOE has to deal with is so desperately different than the one NOA has to deal with. Are there huge factions of scalpers like there are here? Do you see guys showing up at stores at 8 AM to grab carts full of these toys to resell? Is it hard for NOE to get shelf space at a huge Walmart-like store there?
Not to mention the fact they aren't facing any issues with people on strike.

I've got an extra unopened North American Pit potentially for trade (I scored two at Toys R Us at random, kept one for myself)...the GAFfer I set up a trade with to get Shulk hasn't answered my last PM about it.

At NWS, probably collectors or fanboys. NWS limits their quantities.

Whoa calm down buddy. This is the result of the Longshoreman strike at the LA harbor. Many of those ships are carrying goods from Japan, so I'd wager there are some Amiibos on them.
