Not just a captivating city in its own right, but the way the game opens once you reach it, allowing you a dozen different locales to explore all at once. That's exactly what I loved about the early Broken Sword games. Exciting, just got there too!

Man I hope my replay doesn't spoil my perfect memories of the original due to frustration. I'm confident that when it comes to games I'm a whole lot dumber than I used to be. Especially when it comes to adventure games.

There really needs to be a prompt when you press new game. I was 20 minutes into my current save and accidentally pressed new game when I wanted to quit and it just went straight in losing my current progress :(. I'm going to retread now.

PS console exclusive. Sony helped fund the game.

It's on PS4/PSVita/PC maaaaaybe iOS/android later. No Xbox or Wii U.

Day of the Tentacle: Special Edition will be the same

What am I supposed to do with the
anchor paper? I looked up that I have to give it to Toto, but he won't get off the phone.

Is this a bug? I've had the game lock me in the elevator on the way down from the VIP lounge several times, and dialog trees failed to appear for the sea captain the first time I tried to go through Year 2.

Year 2 seems incredibly glitchy.

Solved. I had to restart the game and then it suddenly let me talk to him.

It might be glitched on you. What you do is
hit triangle, select the rusty anchor paper, and hit X. He'll pull out his tattoo sketch book, and give you a photo.

He was still on the phone when I did it, he'll just tell them to hold on a second.

I don't know if this is a widespread issue or what, but I just bought the game and I have no way to actually play it. It shows up as downloaded on my PS4 and only gives me the option to Start the game. When I try starting it, I get a message saying the application can't be found and it takes me to the PS Store page with another Start button that does the same thing.

I tried restoring licenses and restarting the console, but nothing works. I even tried making it download from the webstore but that just makes the page freeze.

Help! :(

It was. The game wouldn't let me show him the paper, but it suddenly worked when I reloaded my save.

I've had enough for today. Lost a good amount of progress due to a glitch where I can't go down the elevator from the High Roller's Lounge. Now I have to do the briefcase, Lola, and union sequences all over again.

Got the game today and in the process of downloading right now.

I dunno what the deal is with this game but I also had trouble getting this game at first off the PSN store. Not sure how I did it except for restoring licenses in the PS4 and going to my download queue where the game finally showed up on the Playstation Store website.

Anyway looking forward to playing this game again finally. I played it bit a while back but never finished it so it will be great to do it this time with the improved graphics and orchestral music.

Thank you! I was hitting X as well, never tried square. Still missing a few in Year 2, but I know where those are for next run. Finally nailed the chanting one, that was tougher than I thought. Or my timing is just really bad.

You're welcome! It certainly was a tough one to try. Manny kept saying he didn't have the right equipment so I was expecting a telescope to turn up.

On the phone with support and they keep telling me to wait for the store to complete updating regarding the theme.

I escalated to someone else. The store is updated is it not?

Not certain on Rusty Anchor, but I think you have to
take the Old #36 paper to Glottis before going to Toto.
That makes sense in my head, but I went straight there.

Me, Me, Me-Me-Me becomes accessible
after you have Nick free the Bee. He'll say "Time to stir the Hive" and fly off. Go back to them, and talk to them. Hit X in time with each repeated line, until it pops after the second round of lines about Manny.
That took me several tries,

I just looked up a video on Youtube and yeah,
you have to bring Glottis that piece of paper before he leaves the Piano for the High Rollers Club. So basically, it's a very easy missable.

Me, Me, Me-Me-Me becomes accessible

So I just bought the game and went to launch it after waiting a while for it to download but I get "Cannot find the application" as an error message. I tried the method of fixing given in the OP for those that pre-ordered but I still seem to be out of luck.

Edit: The title just popped up on my download list. Have no idea what took it so long. Can't wait to start!

I haven't had a chance to play properly but j think I collected my first person and sent them on their way.

The game is better than I remember it but the Remaster is very rough especially coming off from Resident Evil but I understand how old the game was and how hard it would've been to create the assets or even update them given their nature.

Playing tank controls too and honestly don't mind It that much. It did take some getting used to since Manny controls slightly differently to the tank controls in Resident Evil but yeah I am used to it now.

But fuck the game oozes atmosphere and charm. I'm not even up to the better parts of it yet but I was just pulled in instantly. Between this and Resident Evil I'm pretty depressed about the lack of games with tone and atmosphere like this :(

Someone may have posted this here, but I'm posting it anyway -

Since restoring licenses and restarting or trying to manually DL the game directly from the link on the PSN website did absolutely nothing for me, this worked:

1. Go to the PSN store website on your PC
2. Highlight your user name and select download list from the drop down menu.
3. You will see two Grim Fandango downloads - one for PS4 and one for PS3/Vita.
4. Select download to PS4 and you will get a notification on your PS4 that its downloading.

GFG.

Just started it up and the game looks awesome along with the new lighting effects. Music is sounding great also on my Gold wireless headphones.
