Tempted to order Bowser, Toon Link, Lucario and Rosalina from them, but it's so expensive. $16 shipping all up, when the amiibo are already $20 each.
Think I might just risk it tomorrow morning and try and save some money >_>
Yep, I have it and its pretty sweet. It goes for 5 bucks on Toys R Us.
When I train amiibos, I always start off by fighting as the character up till about level 10-20 so that they develop good habits for that character.
For example, my first amiibo was Samus (because obvious reasons, robutts and Samus was my main since Smash 64). I went through a bunch of fights using everything at my disposal (meteor smash with D-air, keep a semi-charged shot to throw them off, D-tilt into u-air, or D-grab into F-air).
Once the amiibo got a good idea of what worked well I pitted it against other characters to test its ability to adapt. From there, it got better and better.
But now it tends to make a habit of staying away from a fight until it sees a chance to pop off some moves and then throw out a fully charged shot.
I'm wondering if amiibo Shulk will be good about Monado Arts... here's hoping.

I went into TRU after I went into Target and the place was deserted. Like literally no cashiers manning a register, no employee patrolling the electronic section...it was creepy. Don't think I can go back

They used to just charge a flat $3.90 for as many items as you wanted, unless it was something very big like a monitor. Now they nickel and dime it pretty hard. I'm doing my Wave 4 with EB because of it. Doesn't help that Amiibo packaging is pretty big though.

Just checked my JB order for Shulk and Dedede and it's changed from 'pre order confirmed' to 'in progress'.

Oh dangit I'm about to do the same thing. Opened up my second Amiibo, Link. I'm getting the blow dryer ready and going to burn his neck, bend it back, and probably stick it in ice cold water. Wish me luck!

I finally got the Bowser e-mail from Amazon. Estimated delivery date....March 10th O_O. And no available estimate for Sheik at all.
Even Bowser still hasn't shown up in my town yet. I must live in the worst spot for amiibos in the country. It's just been non-stop envy reading this thread!

No shipping confirmation on MK or Rosalina on my end from Nippon-Yasan. The latter has been in preperations for close to a week now.

They didn't know at my Target, so it seems it's a ymmv thing for now.
Rosalina stock will probably vary from store to store, but just as an example the Target that I got Sheik from tonight said that there would be 16 Rosalina available on Sunday. (for comparison there were only 4 Sheik) I'm going to guess that Shulk will be in higher demand since Gamestop doesn't keep much stock beyond preorders.
Hmm, maybe I'll get lucky and I can buy one at launch, then another the next day, should they impose the limit.
I'm still deciding if I truly want her. On the one hand, being a Mario franchise character, she'll probably be useful, more than Shulk at the moment. But I don't know, something tells me I should use the money I'd spend on her for Ike or Dedede.

Yeah, I figured Shulk would be considered more rare, which is why I was thinking of getting a spare of him to give away, but I think I've noticed more people talking about Rosalina, though could be due to the release date happening soon.
I just want my giveaway to be of an amiibo people truly want so whoever wins feels the same gratitude that I've felt from you guys and the fact I've gotten Peach & eventually Fox & Wii Fit Trainer from members here.

So the impression I've been getting is that we have no clue at all when Meta-Knight is coming. Disappointing, I would've thought he would show up soon. (at least before the next Kirby game releases) Oh well, gives me time to focus on getting Lucario and Rosalina.
I think you would make a member of the community very very happy regardless.
Besides, even if Rosalina's demand doesn't last much beyond her launch, I'm sure she will still be a popular character.

Want to get Link's attention away from the floor beneath him and get him to look forward? Look no more for I have the cure!
1. Get blue/masking tape ready + ice water
2. Use a blow dryer on Link's neck
3. After about 1-2 minutes he should be bendable
4. Bend his head back to desired position and place tape on front of his head with the other end of the tape taped to his back. This will keep his head in place.
5. Put him in ice water for at least a few minutes. I'd say 5 or more minutes.
6. Dry him off and you're done!

So with all this talk of Rosalina, what's the latest on meta knight? I'm thinking more and more he may be the rarest. Is there a release date for Meta somewhere?
Not sure I will I'll be excited and there is a 24hr IHOP next to the Target XD I'll be making plans around eating a late/early breakfast there then headed to BB to just see if Meta Knight happens to appear since we have no word on that.

Does this damage the NFC chip at all?

I really hope he's not too rare. I'm not looking to collect em all but I really do want to have the whole Kirby crew.
Best Buy hasn't yet announced when it'll have Meta Knight in stock. Considering the Nintendo World Store today sold all the store-exclusive Amiibos except Meta Knight, it's probably a safe bet that he won't be for sale at Best Buy on Feb. 1. Maybe Feb. 13 when the second wave of Wave 3 Amiibos reach store shelves?
