Whenever I have gone to Target in the past on a release day of big product, they usually have a box of the product behind the counter and you have to ask. They never had anything on the floor on release day.

Well, I went to GameStop today with my newly received $25 gift card (in case anyone's curious, I paid off all my amiibos with PTC gift cards).
I picked up a Kirby amiibo and paid off the last of my Wave 3 preorders, now I just wait for them to be released.

If you're really wanting them to sell you'll have to go down there and really request they scan it to see that it can be purchased now.

Haha okay. I'm too OCD with collecting stuff to leave any out, especially since they're numbered.
No price stickers on mine. Managed to avoid them for all three waves now, except the odd spare I bought in store.
I WAS going to buy them all then I remembered food comes first. The numbers make it so painful though. They're taunting me telling me I'm missing some of them.
They did, but not for long. Mighty Ape sold out fast.
EB Games on the other hand has been pretty good with stock in New Zealand. I'm guessing they're getting the Lion's share.

My cousin works in the bay area and yeah, that screen he took of the stock coming in said his store would get a maximum of 12 Rosalina but warned me actual stock would be lower.
Well one of them was removed, the count went from 8 to 7. Not sure which one if it wasn't Shulk.

Yeah I'm gonna go for mightyape for the ones I can't find. They're a lot more expensive than buying them in store.
Hoping to find Bowser, Toon Link, Lucario, Rosalina and Mega Man this morning.
I'll grab an extra Shulk if I see him as well, because I haven't heard from JB about my online order and I wouldn't mind having two anyway

Yep Mighty Ape definitely had the full set up to begin with. Disappeared pretty quick though.
No burnouts for me, but i'm just trying to stay on top of things.
I'll ask them if they knew what they were talking about to be sure.

Target in downtown San Francisco said they'd be limiting Rosalina to 2 per person on Sunday.
We're ready seeing changes first 1 now 2. Though 2 per person is a bit more fair.

Haha, I went to the target in Jones Valley first and had to convince the guy that sheik would pass the POS system, and then I ran out to toys "R" Us and was shocked to find those three
And yes, the lack of competition here is nice for amiibo hunting

Try asking them to type in DPCI number, that's how they track stock. Idk the dpc for him though.

I got shot down on Sheik at my local store today (shows they have 4 in-stock on Brickseek) as the guy I spoke with said they'd be putting them out on Sunday. Oh well.
He did confirm they got a bunch of Rosalinas in and will hopefully be limiting her to a few per customer so one jackass doesn't swoop in and buy them all out at once. I'll still be there at 8AM on Sunday to make sure I get one (or two if they'll let me!).
I did find some cool new World of Nintendo Mario plushies in the action figure aisle - Cat Mario & Boo!
Also grabbed a Disney Infinity Aladdin figure for $10 - I don't play the game but he's one of my favorite Disney characters and all the DI figures are apparently on sale for $10 each this week.

Just went to 3 Targets (2 in San Francisco) and they wouldn't even check the warehouse to see if they were there even though the inventory tracker says they all have 4. Luckily the 3rd store I went to let me put my name down and if they put them out later today I can buy 1. Just have to call back around 5:30pm.

30 minutes ago. I called them first to ask and asked them to hold one for me.
Target in Colma says they'll probably limit Rosalina to 1 per customer on Sunday.

So I went in to pay off the amiibos I could afford now that I know the date of release. I swear going in-store is probably as painful as shopping online because you see so much other stuff you'd want.
My EB Games had their amiibo shelf (4 x 5) and 6 Luigis were up there. Saw a Diddy, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Kirby, and Mario. Also that amiibo carrying case made to look like a ? block. I would have gotten them all if I didn't calm myself down...
But THEY ALL LOOKED SO GOOD, DANGIT NINTENDO
Edit: Which reminds me: I saw the notice EB Games left for those picking up amiibos on Friday. Apparently they were expecting to get 50-75% of the shipment necessary to satisfy preorders of Sheik and Shulk so they were limiting it to one per person. No problem with me as I hope everyone can get one. I'm really feeling this.
