We should all go to NOA and peacefully riot until we get the amiibos we deserved and/or have them figure a solution to get rid of scalpers. Its the only option left at this point.

Hmm, so I checked my Shulk GS.com preorder and noticed that the card I used expires tomorrow. GS still doesn't have any method of updating the payment option so I wonder how this is going to go -_-
Edit: OK, this is bizarre. My Majora's Mask preorder does have a change credit card option but Shulk doesn't. What is going on???

No, and I just chatted with Toys R Us support and was told they are waiting on another shipment from Nintendo for their online pre-orders. They claimed Nintendo decided how many are shipped to stores and how many are sent to warehouse to fill pre-orders online.
I'm honestly getting very nervous about Lucario from Toys R Us and my other Wave 3 pre-ordered amiibos. I've gotten all of them so far so would be a real bummer to miss out on even one

Some places may be, but from every person I talked to today there sure aren't any showing up in Ontario anytime soon. I feel bad for places like New Brunswick, they may never see some of these if it keeps up like this.
In other news I played as Lucina for the first sober time last night and realized that she is awesome and now I need her amiibo. Apparently it has been too long since I completed FE:A.

I called them a few days ago because I wanted to change my Monster Hunter 4 preorder from Paypal to credit card and they told me it wasn't possible to update without cancelling. Was I mislead?

Even if you do just wait until the market gets flooded. The last NA Lucario that sold went for almost 58 dollars. :/
Sounds like ya'lls stituation is as bad as ours anyway though at least... but we don't even have a store with Ike yet as far as I can tell... and no Meta-Knights at BB yet... and at least it seems other retailers will sell Rosalina to you now...

I got Shiek, Dedede, Toon Link, Boswer and Ike from my EB Games Canada preorders here in Ontario.
Plenty of extra Toon Links and Boswers. Not sure what you're talking about for Ontario.

Do the Japanese Amiibos have Japanese writing on the bottom, as opposed to the American writing on the bottom of the US Amiibos?

Maybe it's because you are changing your tender from one form of payment to a new one? Changing one card number to another might be a different issue.

Thanks for the updates. I'm in the same boat. I've gotten every Smash Amiibo so far, so I'm pot committed at this point. At the same time, I may be forced out of the game if things get too crazy with the U.S. Wave 4 preorders.

My toys r us only got two went after my meeting and they were gone. Hope my online order ships

Very small supply. 1 Dedede at both stores and 2-3 Ikes.
Shulk was about 2-4, Shiek about 4-5
Seems that Dedede is the most rare.

I went to my TRU an hour early and there were already four people. After a little while and a few more people showed up, the manager I know came out and said they only got four.
Since I have one ordered from TRU online, I wanted to get some for AmiiboGAF. Sorry guys. ;_;

Best Buy is incompetent. I went 4 weeks ago to try and preorder Meta Knight with no luck. They couldn't get preorders to work, not they they were out then. They had their Amiibos on their shelves labeled like "Mario for Wii Fit Trainer" or "Pikachu for Wii Fit Trainer". So when I asked if they had WTF or Fox (two I were looking for) in the back, an employee came back with Mario's.

It's worse in Canada than the states, and NoA also handles Canada.
You can only get most with a pre-order (which are limited and sell out in 3-10 minutes) and only ones available in stores are the super common ones (Luigi, Zelda, etc). You literally can't get one unless you preorder and even then a ton of pre-orders get canceled regularly by Amazon, BB, etc. My local area only got a single bowser available for walk ins (aka on the shelf), the rest were all preorders.
It's such a mess.

Alas, I've returned from my ~7 store trip. Gamestops all said they'll be in around the 13th while Sonic & Megaman will arrive around the end of the month. They did however had 16 Bowsers...one of which is now mine.
None of the other stores had anything new, all the wal-marts had 0 amiibo total. Toys 'R Us however had Lucarios which were pre-order only so I couldn't get one, but I'm glad they aren't neglecting pre-orders like some others are.
In the end I picked up Bowser, and decided to fill out a bit of the rest of the ones I'm missing by picking up Mario and DK. Better luck in Target on Sunday I suppose.

Dang. How'd they get an order up so fast? But it doesn't sound like it was properly functioning so maybe they'll still get more in (if they didn't over sell what they were getting).

My store has 4-5 very competent employees each of whom collected Amiibo they checked what they were told they will get from warehouse and said the supply was very limited and said they will probably just be able to cover preorders for there region...

Canada seems to be getting those 5 early, along with Shulk.
While Sonic and Mega Man are MIA in all of NA, Rosalina is coming soon to Canada, Meta Knight is MIA, and Lucario is apparently Feb 6th next Friday.

havent heard anything since they sent the emails about about delaying them a month ago.
their ebay page has lots of negative feedback for selling things they don't have then canceling. I'm not optimistic of receiving it from them, can't wait for TRU to be dead to me.
