Just called my local Target, what he told me was that they don't have Rosalina in stock, but I can try back tonight to see if the system updates.
I'm going in blind tomorrow, I might be wasting my time... think I should take my chance and go at 7am like I planned?

If they aren't importing, I'm assuming Toys R Us since they put them out last week? Or maybe Best Buy since they started shipping pre-orders out this week.
I can't find a Toon Link at all. I'm hoping Target will have him tomorrow since his original street date was the 1st.
The stores open at 8am. I think 7:30am is a good time to get there. I think most people aren't going to get there an hour early. It doesn't hurt to try.

Hey all! First time poster in this thread, sometime lurker (this thread moves so fast!). I initially got several Amiibo figures with the intention of only getting the ones that I was especially interested in, but somehow that snowballed into me collecting them all.
Aside from Shulk, the exclusive I've been most excited about getting has been Rosalina, so I'm really nervous about tomorrow. Although since Target didn't have any presells in-store, it sounds like they'll have a larger quantity available, I wish I had better confidence that Target will handle things correctly by limiting it 1 per person and that there won't be too large of a line that I won't get one. On top of that, the expected snowstorm my area's getting has me nervous about the 20 mile drive to and from my closest Target. If I have to drive all that way in bad conditions, stand out in the cold and snow for nothing, early on a Sunday morning...
I'm really kicking myself for not preordering an extra Shulk when I had the chance. I think I'd definitely like to have one kept in the box. So far the only Amiibo I've opened has been Link. I don't yet have any games in which Amiibos offer a function that I feel I absolutely need. With my experimenting opening Link's box, I think I've found the way I'll use when I finally open the rest of mine, by slicing the entire bottom out so everything can drop out and also be put back in without damaging the cardboard artwork. I'll probably try to perfect slicing them open with another common or two before I try it on something like Pit.

Don't they open at 8am? I'll be hitting the one in East York at that time tomorrow. I've already secured two Rosalinas for my nieces but I'll snag ones for Toronto GAF members if they are there.

I mean, there was only 5 people at TRU yesterday, including myself, so I'm not entirely worried that they could run out if theres only whats on shelves. But Im just worried i'm wrong and they'll have like, only one box and therell be 10 or so people
Welcome! Be happy at least you goy a Shulk on lock, a lot of people here are still hoping to get him at launch without a preorder. Not me, I preordered him on November 21 when I picked up my copy of smash.
There are a few tutorials on how to open the boxes without damage to the package, I myself just open them and makes me feel soooo much better.
I keep having visions of that line at Nintendo World and wonder if that's what I'll find at Target tomorrow. Wasn't there like 100 people in that line or something crazy like that?
It's killing me on the inside.
The questions arise:
Will I get one? Will I get an extra? Will some insane collector/scalper fight me for it? Will my Target even get enough Rosalina amiibo or any at all?

Welp, I did decide to call my Gamestop. They said I was like the only one who preordered there so they'd personally call me when they got the second half guys in.
I'm a little fearful though since that gives them a wider angle to sell my preorders before I can actually get to the store and buy them. I'm sure if I do, they'll be like "well you should have checked" or some bullshit like that...
Also figured I'd give two targets me and a friend are hitting tomorrow. The one I'm going to said they would just put them out "and we don't know how many we have" (ya ok, thanks for not going to check, lady) and the other one said they're doing a 2 per person limit with about 20 Rosie in store.
That's not bad, hopefully we can get the 3 Rosalinas we need between us. My other friend who is sick is gonna be psyched if we can get him a Rosie.

Yeah, I'm happy enough that I at least that I got in a preorder almost as soon as they went up but I can't help but worry with some of the nightmare stories I've heard of stores selling people's preorders that something like that might happen with my Shulk. I'm still haunted by the memory of Gamestop selling my preorder of MGS Subsistence LE back in the day. At least there should be a larger quantity of Shulk than there was for that.

Seems Germany and Denmark stores are getting ALL the amiibos from other european countries.
Is impssible to find amiibos like Kirby, Little Mac, Rosalina and the rare usuals in Spain.
Just right know fnac just opened preorder for every amiibo minus wave 3.5. Ive preordered the really rare ones I didnt find still, but im not holding my breath. I read they usually cancel this things and is probably a mistake. Its still up for every amiibo after some hours and havent already been sold out, thats really strange and not a good sign.

At my store, we're making sure it's 1 per person. The other team lead and I talked about it. I'll be there to enforce the 1 per person rule. We got a total of 28 with about 8 put on hold for people. I can put about 5 more on hold of people are planning on going to the Sacramento arden store. I'm here today until 1230 if any of you guys want to come in and put one on hold.

Nope. Word is it'll be at Best Buy on February 28. I'm still gonna check tomorrow morning when they open though. I'm just glad they open at 11am near me.

Though, on the bright side, paying that plus a standard Amiibo price is still much better than faring with the Ebay scalper prices.
