The casting of Iris and Joe were influenced by New 52 Wally so it's certainly possible.
That isn't a problem for Wally, that's more applicable to Bart and Iris 2. His origin story will probably be changed to that of a cousin instead of Iris' nephew but that's about it. And maybe call him Impulse instead of Kid Flash depending on what age he is.
Also, time travel isn't really an issue either.

He is the lead singer of the bad guys for one season. You should listen to his Smooth Criminal performance.
Wally doesn't seem to fit into S1 particularly as it stands. It's likely he'll show up in S2 onwards, once Barry's got through his own origin.
I spoiler tagged the speculation because of the potential change for characters to mirror the comics.
I don't think the show is popular enough to warrant that divide. At the same time, The Flash is not a straight adaptation.
Holy shit you're right. If he doesn't sing in Flash I'm going to be disappointed.
Then I think a concession should be to spoiler speculation that's based on the comics.

Have the writers confirmed if Grodd is going to be in S1 at all? I know there's been little hints, but it'd be interesting to see Flash go up against Grodd. Or maybe he'll be the big bad for S2 (which hasn't been confirmed yet right?).
Oh, and is there going to be another crossover episode with Arrow this season? Those two episodes were really fun.

Nobody really bothers with that, these shows deviate enough from the comics that it isn't an issue. This is nowhere near as faithful as something like Game of Thrones. Look at characters like Lyla, Jean Loring or even Felicity.
Season 2 is confirmed.
And Grodd is confirmed for later this year but only one episode AFAIK, hopefully he's back in the big bad slot next season. The crossover is just one way with Felicity and Ray visiting Flash again.

It's been established at this point Wells doesn't know everything.
I would be very surprised if the timeline doesn't get massively altered (again?) at some point, if not the finale. We're only a year into a show that's pretty much guaranteed to run another 5 years there's a lot of time and twists to come.

Tennant is attached to Jessica Jones and is still doing Broadchurch in the UK I believe.. so even as a dream possibility the filming schedules would have to not clash.

Clearly not if Wells can check papers from the future and see that Flash doesn't exist then freak out when Barry got his powers leeched etc.
He's angling for a specific result but he's dancing on the edge of a knife to do it.

That's my point. There is no absolute predetermined outcome. He knows what certain people could be capable of in certain situations based of information from an alternate timeline but there is no guarantee that everything is going to pan out exactly as he wants.

If it follows a similar trajectory to Arrow, Reverse Flash will kick Barry's ass in the 22nd episode and in the 23rd there'll be a huge fight and some time traveling, mother killing action with Barry finally winning.
I really want Wells to be a long form villain. He's way too good to just relegate to just this season. I do expect something along the lines of your post though.
Thanks to time travel and the Arrowverse's hesitance to kill off major villains I don't think you should worry about it too much.
Presumably there's Zoom still to come as well.

That makes Prison Break and Spartacus the farm factory for future CW supervillans.
That doesn't really hold up now, seeing how Liam McIntyre will be on Flash and it's only a matter of time before Captain Boomerang joins the Rouges.
