Well so far they only got Barrowman. So far. I mean, seriously, they need to get Tennant into a Arrow/Flash crossover so he can be both a time traveller and interact with Merlyn.Doctor Who is missing in there somewhere.

OH MY GOD!!And River Song.
if wells is the villain, why is he helping flash
Because it helps his own interests? A villain isn't necessary defined by wanting to kill the hero or make every life miserable. Look at Dr. Doom, Amanda Waller, Black Adam or Mr. Freeze. They are villains, but they have goals they work for. Usually.if wells is the villain, why is he helping flash

Exactly! It's the grey zone, but she isn't a hero. I may read too much comics with her, but for me she is clearly a villain with good intentions. Assasinations, manipulation, theft, murder of subordinates, urge to nuke the city...Listing Waller as a villain is pretty big stretch, she's often an antagonist but her goals are usually in the best interest of the country.

By that definition, so is Doom.

My guess is Wells is "making Barry a better hero," so to speak. I always love these kinds of villains.
I think Wells needs Barry's direct link to the Speed Force in order to stabilize his own abilities, but Barry has to get faster, i.e. more powerful, for that to happen. That's why Wells is helping the Flash.
I'll check it out friendRectify that, if you could. I assure you, you'll be quite pleased.
You think they're going toin the show?have Barry die and create the Speed Force
The difference here though,No, I don't think that will happen, especially sinceOliver just "died".
Matt Smith is also high on their wishlist so they're looking at the show. And River Song.
The difference here though,They have room to be creative, is what I'm saying.is that Flash himself is a legacy character. They could easily do that and bring in Wally for the next season. Then do time travel shit and do a period season with Jay Garrick. Then flash forward with Bart or something.
There's no way they'll kill off Gustin that quickly.
In future seasons maybe, but he's anchoring a very successful show at the moment. And if they were to make a risk that momentous they'd bring in Wally first to see how audiences respond.

Yeah. I can see them killing Gust after like 5 seasons and even then only if the show viewership will heavily go down.
That better be the series finale. Every show I've liked that went past 5 seasons took a down turn. BtVS and Supernatural are both examples of this. Though, BtVS ended, so plus one to that.
The Good Wife kept the quality up by massively shaking things up. Shows that drastically change things either crash and burn or it raises them back up, Wally could do the same thing for Flash but we're years away from that. Also animated shows can usually go to about 8 seasons without quality drop-off.
PS. this show is going for six years not five, same with Arrow.

I wish I could have your enthusiasm. I really do. My perfect formula is:Some shows can survive longer. Deep Space 9 for example had great S6.
That said, this would allow Flash to last ten seasons. I mean..imagine if at S5 Barry would die and they would do soft-reboot, with Wally and mostly new supporting cast?
I wish I could have your enthusiasm. I really do. My perfect formula is:
S1) Barry dies and creates Speed Force
S2) Wally is the new Flash in an advent of new speedsters
S3) Bart Allen shows up from the future as Impulse. Him and Wally solve some time shenanigans. Wally and Bart attempt to send Bart back to the future (having changed some critical plot event that makes plot into better plot), Barry Allen shows up instead.
S4) Turns out Barry didn't die and actually went back into the past. There he meets Jay Garrick (back in let's say, the 60's), who turns out to be a speedster. Solves shenanigans. Barry ends up going back to the future (heh).
S5) Barry, Wally, and Bart go to the future and solve major crime shown in Wells' newspaper. Series ends with Barry fighting Reverse Flash to try and save his mom. Shows him losing that fight, yet apprehending the Reverse Flash and saves the day. He continues on with Wally and Bart at his side. Or goes back in time with Wally and leaves Bart in the future. Something like that. Series ends here either way.
I'm honestly not familiar with that character (I only know the general Flash lore, so if you see any ignorance from me, please feel free to correct it).![]()
You forgot someone!
Not sure they'll need time travel for Jay Garrick unless they want a young version of him, he has slower aging. I'd still buy it if Barry's dad was Jay, this show is a weird pseudo-sequel to the old TV show.
Is the Speed Force already here? Based on what? We've only seen Wells, and he's clearly a time traveler. It exists in the future, but does it exist now? Isn't that a good explanation as to why he can't control his powers and needs to stabilize? The Speed Force is already here though we're basically in timeline B (or maybe C) with the show already. That could be disastrous to "kill off" Barry in the first season before he's really even established, way, way too soon. Shouldn't happen for years and only after Wally is established in a supporting role even still that would be a huge risk and Wally would need to be over huge with audiences.
Gustin has at least six seasons, after that they could totally change things up and refresh the show. Hell, they've already set themselves up for ten with their having the Crisis on Infinite Earths happening in 2024 where Barry "disappears" and creates the Speed Force.

Iris West II, Wally's daughter.
Season 1: episode 12 "Crazy for You"
Barry and Caitlin go looking for new love, but only Barry is successful when he meets a sports reporter. Meanwhile, Cisco considers a surprising offer, the team take on a teleporting metahuman, and Henry is injured at Iron Heights.
New episode today:
Re: New Episode Summary
Why would Caitlin go looking for new love? If I've just found out that my dead fiance was actually alive, looking for new love would be the last thing on my mind.
yeah, makes no sense. Barry definitely, but caitlin doesn't make much sense when the evidence that crazy shit is afoot with Ronnie is piling up every episode.
Stealing a pretty (in)famous Wally West reaction-time feat from Flash #30 (1989)!
