I think they cut that and they also said they cut the character creation. Honestly, people had no real reason to worry about spoilers, cause From are being super secretive about most of the game. Who knew we were watching the first part with the Alpha footage this whole time?

They do,the starting cutscene in the video is the cutscene after you created your character I think.

Never said I want enemies who don't fight back (although many of the enemies in this video just stand there oblivious). I was just thinking more like Xbox Ninja Gaiden; a skill-based, fast-paced combo system instead of the normal weighty Souls combat. Just my opinion, no need to go full piranha.

So, people who played the alpha are saying the framerate is better but the AA is worse? Sounds like perhaps they couldn't optimize the performance any further in other ways, so they decided to reduce/cut AA in favor of framerate. Just speculation of course, but it would make sense. Good decision? Who knows, we'll have to see about that.

Anyone notice something odd happens when the warewolf first injures the character? There's some kind of graphical effect surrounding the hunter. Status effect?

I really hope they do something about the aliasing before release because it really drags the visuals down.
Negativity aside, I'm really loving what I've seen of the animations and gameplay so far. The blood mechanic is especially cool. It should be interesting to see how it interplays with stamina.

Do it. Aside from the opening, it's pretty much the same demo they've been showing for a while.
If you let your daughter play (or watch) Dark Souls I don't see how blood would make it any different. As long as she understands games aren't reality then she'll be fine!
The game seems to be centered around blood, and there is a lot of blood splashing everywhere in the video. Character is basically covered in blood most of the time, and there are puddles of it after every fight.
Its 30 fps? Then it would be a disaster if we dont get rocksolid framerate and good AA tbh.
