You know, I know this game isn't good. I know that when I put it in my eyeballs, the Neogaf is telling my brain that it is juicy and delicious. After nine months of previews, you know what I realize?

Ignorance is bliss.

I could probably take him out to eat...

fixed

Dude looks like he could fucking crush me.

He's a pretty lame troll unless he's teasing leaks :P
I resent this.

I don't think of myself as a troll. I believe in art, and in the desire of expressing myself as different individuals, which allows me to come full circle in my equilibrium. My characters are entities unto themselves, and my tools are the mechanisms that are able to trigger human emotion. It's all about emotionality. When I reach that special place, and my words connect like the daggers that strike the human heart. At first I tried to take a more antagonistic and confrontational approach, but since the negativity felt unnatural to me, I felt it was going too far for my psyche, and so I settled on a mix of characters that adequately reflect the perils and realities of the world we occupy.

I'm not the troll. You all are the trolls.

It's one versus all baby girls. You can balee dat.

I don't think Verendus is a troll. He'll just never be as funny and handsome and well liked as me and you can imagine the angst that engenders in some.

I had a pithy and eloquent response to this, but Lana just got her tits out in 'Archer'.

Wait. Hold on.

Yep. I'm a genius. I did it again. I need to send some kind of message to the fake Phil Spencer (aka person who did absolutely nothing yet gets the credit for my work). I just found our slogan for 2015. It's no longer the Age of One. Well, it is. But...

One vs. All.

I don't think Verendus is a troll. He'll just never be as funny and handsome and well liked as me and you can imagine the angst that engenders in some.
Kev please.

If you feel an unrelenting attraction to me, you don't need to play these teenage games, and own up to it. I can then let you down lightly.

Oh lord, this thread is going places..lol. Joking aside, thanks Verendus for clarifying the actual game length from your playtime with a copy. Probably saved 8 or 9 more pages of banter about the alleged "5 hour" campaign..lol

I really can picture this game being one-of-a-kind experience that is well worth the price of admission. Just looking at the official website and reading the provided lore has increased my hype for this game big time. Even more so with the details stating why this game recieved a mature rating.

As far as i understood the game is in 21:9 aspect ratio which would mean you get no borders on a 21:9 screen, i might be wrong i´m no expert but i think you got it wrong here, 1080p has nothing to do with aspect ratio here.

That is how movies work but not games. RAD is still making a 1920x1080 game just with part of the image rendering only black lines. To fit what you are talking about they would have to make a 2516x1080p game.

Blu rays are the same way, which is why 21:9 screens are pointless for anything but a PC monitor. You'll have to scale and zoom the image in order to get it to fill the screen, which will mess up the image quality. That's why no one is really upset about the black bars, because it'll look like native content.

Yes, it really remind me of tlou trophies.

By the way, about the topic of ethnic minorities in the game

She is one of the rebels commander (sorry, for the quality, but it's the best shot i could take :P) .
I don't know man, but this woman looks really like an India because of a bindi being in her forehead. So I guess, India might be a setting for The Order 1886's sequel given that India and England had a very close relationship in this period.

Fuck, this game looks amazing. It truly does. I dig the black bars myself, feel it really does create a more cinematic experience as someone else already said. I no doubt agree there. Truth be told on my 55 inch TV, and perhaps maybe even 65" if I do decide to go ahead and make that purchase sooner rather than later, I will eventually not even notice them. It will be exactly like when some of the Widescreen editions of BluRays have black bars to maintain their aspect ratio. I truly have no problem whatsoever with them and actually like them. I actually feel sorry for those that do have a problem with them. However I digress...

Also the length is absolutely perfect if it is just 10 hours. That should take me around 2 to 3 weeks to beat unless I really luck out and get a sick day or something. So that length is ideal considering the limited amount of time I do get to play these days. Just another bullet mark to check off.

When all is said and done, this has easily been my most anticipated game of this generation thus far, and I have owned the PS4, XBox One, and I will even throw in the WiiU, all since Day 1. For my own personal gaming taste, this is THE game I expected out of the "next gen" experience.

I don't think it's "BINDI" . and in 1886 , there are quiet few indians in london.

The game still has a resolution of 1080p with an aspect ratio of 16:9, but it's framed to 21:9. The resultant black bars are literally bars of black pixels.
If you try to play this game on a 21:9 monitor you're going to get pillar-boxing like when watching 4x3 content on a 16x9 screen. Unless you zoom in.

Edit: Already beaten by a few people...

Just because he is big and muscular doesn't mean he is aggressive.
We need to stop with this stereotyping.

The Order 1886 is however a cinematic third person shooter and they are always shit.

He is more jacked than the scary jacked hybrid wolf peoples in his game. No armpit hair either just like that thread a few days back... come to think of it he looks completely hairless, like a werewolf minus all the wolf stuff. Just a scary jacked werewere.

Just noticed that the tower in the distance has a revolving beacon. Having sky-high lighthouses for air ships is a nice little detail!
