definitely not understanding where all this Persona 2 talk is coming from, I don't see any of that in this trailer. The goofy tone and extended DANCING and flailing is straight Persona 4, and the visuals and scene direction is very Catherine, which is about what I expected.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I would be content with a smaller party and, generally, a slightly shorter game. Persona 3 & 4 were wonderful, but they were also really, really long.

I was thinking this as well, the early promo stuff for P4 only had Yu, Yosuke, Chie, and Yukiko. P3 only had Minato, Junpei, and Yukari I think. I never assumed these 4 were it though.

The calendar is there so there's definitely a time management system so social links are very likely back. Especially since the waifu mechanics are a big draw for a lot of people.

I'm pretty sure this is not the same engine Catherine used. Catherine used Gamebryo and Atlus claimed a few years back that they were internally developing a new engine for Persona 5.

Only 4 characters? One of which is probably a mute MC and another one is a cat? Sounds pretty boring. What happens if I don't like the other 2 characters? I like to have options.

Who says Social Links are not in? There's a big "Cooperation" tab in the main menu, and the Japanese never used the term S.Link to begin with.
