It's a shame that Adidas chose to 'embrace' his creativity and desire to make shoes. You can tell a lot about a companies culture by who they do business with.

No problem if some don't approve of it. Just be sure it isn't for any bigoted reason or you're likely to get sniffed out. OP is a pretty good example of that in practice.
 
Wow, things escalated quickly. I love Kanye's music but I do think he'd be so much more influential on the music scene if he didn't attention whore at times. Late Registration and 808's & heartbreak are great albums. Not everyone agrees on 808's but I think it had an awesome aesthetic that created a certain dark 80's mood.

I don't know the OP or the alleged history of racism, I have listened to a couple of albums of Kanye's and numerous antics/BS over the years. I also have zero racism mate, I've lived in places like White Plains/Scarsdale NY, Singapore, England, Australia, LA etc. I have plenty of experience living and interacting with many races. I actually employ a number of people from China as well.

At any rate, he's not some messiah of the genre, I find his intellect lacking to say the least and his own ego/persona is plain annoying. IMO he is talentless.

I came into this thread to hear a bit more about the whole Beck/Kanye thing and what I got was.....I'm really not sure, but this went downhill fast.

I have no opinion on Kanye, if Beck didn't care, why should I.
