That's a shady shop? Well besides, the PAL/Australia thing (I thought they stated which versions the sell on their page, don't they?), is there anything else wrong with them?
- Australian cases are worse (they use the same crappy case like in US, those Eco-cases and it's easy for the cover to get damaged because of those - I had to replace the case of my Wonderful 101 copy because of it).
- Club Nintendo code obviously won't work
- and sometimes there are differences in the manual (sometimes manuals are multilingual in Europe)
- if you want to sell them, they will get you less on ebay
And no, they don't say what version they are selling. That's my problem with it. They are in fact even putting their own logo over the age logo on the cover. Even asking their "support" won't give you results (they will neither deny or confirm it, but instead dance around that matter) and when you contact them after you receive the item, they will simply ignore you.
If they were open like for example coolshop, then that'd be okay.
It's like ordering from amazon.co.uk and then receiving a danish version of a game. If it's mentioned, then that's fine. But it's not fine to not mention it at all, send around imports and then even ignore customers, that want to send it back.
I'm thinking about getting my N3DS off amazon.fr, since shops around here updated their prices to 179€ and I'm not pleased with that. How fast is slow shipping from France to Austria usually, and is there anything to look out for, like problems when sending back damaged goods? I never purchased something off of amazon.fr, only .de and .co.uk.
Normally takes 2 or 3 days. Not sure about returns.
That's strange though. Aren't games in Australia super expensive, I would have thought they would sell imports because those games are cheaper than UK games.
Depends on the game.
Some games got limited prints in UK and are rare because of that. Which then results in Australian copies effectively being less expensive. Sometimes a game simply doesn't sell well in Australia, which then makes those copies less expensive and so on.
Just got my Spirit Camera copy from amazon marketplace (advertised as UK copy but is an Austrian/Swiss? copy [country code is STA, no clue what that means, triangle is dark reddish/almost purple] and it's sealed in Nintendo shrink-wrap.
Nooooo. Nintendo contacted me today asking for proof of purchase. So hopefully they will send me a code without me having to return the 2nd copy. It really sucks. Which seller did you get it from?
