That's even better. Guess I'll give it a shot tomorrow.
Those pictures I think are several revisions after what I released on the Nexus. It's probably quite a bit different from what's available, and I'ts been changed even more since then. Here is that last scene as it is right now:

JESUS!
That looks too damn good.
I did it with the ENB remover mod, which you can also find on nexusmods. Worked like a charm.Wow, I've never heard of NLA but that looks incredible. May have to give it a shot.
Question - what is the best way to "uninstall" an ENB? Do I just delete all the files/folders that the ENB asked me to copy into the game's folder? I'm wary of deleting all those files and unknowingly destroying the entire game in the process.

It's a hog, to be sure, but 20fps sounds pretty extreme. I have a 780 and I use JK and Dawn and don't suffer that much of a drop. I hover around 50fps with some minor stutter in cities (which I know is due to my city overhauls but I can deal when the cities are so pretty).PS: JK's city overhaul also seems kinda hardware hungry. Shit dropped my framerate a solid 20 frames down to 40 fps. WTF?
That tool failed me completely and did not do its job by leaving behind several files it installed, while removing most others, leaving me with a crashing game. Had to troubleshoot for like 2 hours to undo the mess it caused. I probably had some bad luck since a lot of people praise it, but I'm never using it again.Oh nice, didn't realize this was a thing. I'll give it a shot when I'm changing ENBs.
Exterior shots looks gorgeous. But what do interiors look like? From what I've seen, lighting models and ENB's tend to be really good for one, but not as much for the other. The best ENB is still Natural Lighting and Atmospherics imo.

Does Natural Lighting and Atmospherics ENB work with Climates of Tamriel/RLO?
Curiously enough the framerate only dropped when I looked at Riverrun (that's where I tested it). When I faced the other direction it went back to 60 fps... lolIt's a hog, to be sure, but 20fps sounds pretty extreme. I have a 780 and I use JK and Dawn and don't suffer that much of a drop. Yeah, I enabled everything after I removing ENB again yesterday evening. Gonna try what you suggest this weekend. Not modding this game again during the week. Spent 4 hours modding this game yesterday and barely played it.Two suggestions off the top of my head... Are you using Bethesda's default vsync and default shadow settings for ultra? Both of those are very inefficient and need to be tweaked..
@removing ENBs, I re-copy the installed ENB into my game folder, which makes windows explorer to automatically select all files that are from this enb and then press delete.
I wouldn't trust a tool on this, the files differ from preset to preset.

I know that feeling. You get carried away with installing this mod and cleaning that mod, diagnosing some missing textures here and building a bashed patch there, and before you know it it's 3 hours past your bedtime and you have to get up for work in a few hours...

I like the look of ENBs but I can't get over the FPS loss. Even on a 980. I Just stick with better textures, elfx, and climates of tamriel.
What are the benefits/downsides to running Skyrim in borderless windowed mode?
Shift+F12 is your friend. It toggles the ENB. I play without it on, and then if I'm in a cool area I'll turn it on and take some screenshots.
Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul is regularly updated and is an excellent alternative to Oscuro/FCOM. It even works alongside them, although MOO and FCOM together might be overkill from a gameplay standpoint. Perhaps OOO and MOO together are a good idea.

I also released a major sound overhaul for Oblivion last year

Yeah, man, you're completely missing out on textures! You only have 2KHD and that's far from the best the game can look.Anything I can replace or take out to increase performance/make it look better?
Here is what I am currently running + HighRes texture pack 1-3

I get about 60-50 FPS outside
and 80-70 inside.

When I installed everything I always click yes to all, should I or no?
Please do so, i am always looking for texture improvementsI could post my texture list after work if anyone wants. I've put quite a few hours into picking textures that match vanilla style but look as good as can be, so I'm pretty satisfied with my list. It's going to be kind of a long list though...

Heyyy, Bijin Warmaidens updated! Delphine has a "(kind of) looks her age" option now! The timing on that is perfect as I've finally decided to get around to the main quest this weekend and a 22 year old looking Delphine was weird...

Sure! I'm really tired and just veging out anyway...I just saw you posted your textures, do you mind posting every other mod you are running?

Weapons & armor additions
Gameplay, patches, UI, sound, etc
Environment, atmospherics, immersion, decoration, monsters and NPCs
Quests & new locations (Forgot I had uninstalled most of these...)
Untested mods (I haven't actually tested these yet but they seem cool and safe to use.)
Feel free to ask away about any of them. I have none of the cool-looking quest mods (Moonpath, Wyrmtooth, Falskaar, etc) yet, as I plan to do them last.
I'm big on having a natural, actually realistic textures too and I don't feel any of mine break believability. For example, I had to bail on aMidianBorn and Vivid's landscape textures since one of them used concrete (?!) for one of the fort wall textures and the other one thought it made sense to build forts out of porous sandstone. They had to go the moment I saw those walls. When it comes to texture replacements like Skyrim 2K and so on, I'm not a fan when they change the "look" of the objects, like a building made of stones in size 10 suddenly uses size 2 stones, or when they go from square to rectangular or so on, so I currently do not use much texture replacements at all.
Start with SkyTEST! It adds more realistic behavior, animal packs and cubs. It's pretty cool running into a pack of wolves all aggroing immediately because they want to protect their cubs.EDIT:[/B]
I just realized I have forgotten to even think about wildlife yet, might start adding some of the animal retextures/meshes you have installed this weekend.
My computer specs? GTX780, 4690k, 16GB. It all runs mostly fine, though I think there's still room for improvement in my technical tweaking.Cool Thank you, I'm going to go ahead and check these out when I get off work. What your set up btw.
Awesome, thank you!All right, here it all is:
General textures & meshes
NPCs
Have to admit that my NPC retexturing may be a bit lacking. There are better male body textures out now (SkySight and Windsong off the top of my head), but they had incompatabilities with something or other and I skipped them. My NPCs look pretty good with the above combo, but even better choices can be found if you dig around.
If anything looks redundant, it's because I've overwritten bits of larger packs with loose ones I prefer. Some bigger packs are left in case they cover something the other mods don't cover, despite possibly being completely redundant (good example being Better Beast Races, which is probably made useless by my other argonian/khajiit mods).
(Ah, I see About Horses is still installed and at the top of the list... Ignore that one, it's not actually a replacer for regular horses. Gonna uninstall it right now.)
Thinking abot coming back to Skyrim, but I will do that only if there is some mod that makes items actually interesting and wants you to hunt for them. Anything like that that you could recommend?
MORE MODS! Installed some new ones for the first time in a week or two. I had to get Paarthurnax Dilemma because I'm not killing my dragon buddy, hell no, and I'm also trying out Dungeon Quest Awareness, Two-Handed Rebalance, Dogs of Skyrim and Apex Werewolf (since I noticed there's a werewolf achievement, I'm finally going to actually start using it)...

Hm, I'm not sure what you're asking for exactly... My mod list enriches the game with all kinds of loot both in chests and in the hands of enemies, with unique collectables to hunt for as well, but I don't know what your definition of actually interesting is.Thinking abot coming back to Skyrim, but I will do that only if there is some mod that makes items actually interesting and wants you to hunt for them. Sure, but they didn't use concrete slabs and build entire walls out of only concrete like we do today, did they? The texture I'm talking about was a flat concrete surface sparsely dotted with tiny, decorative rocks. I can deal with concrete poured between rocks to solidify a wall, but an entire concrete slab feels off to me...I dunno the specifics of the mod itself but depending on who built the fort the concrete could be fine.
The Empire are inspired by the Romans and the Romans did use concrete
No need to bother with that with NMM. You will pretty much only see this prompt with texture packs, since functionality mods come in ESP's that won't have the same filename. Textures are always safe to overwrite, since the worst that can happen is that the object will be bright purple in the game if you screw up. It won't cause crashes or corruption.Look it up on Google. A lot of it comes down to personal preference, but often there'll be guides written down on what you can overwrite and what not.
