There are five 10k positions sold out, come on now. Smells fishy.
7 actually, and not really that fishy IMO given the people behind it.
$217,680 now.

Sweet mercy. $234,785
It might actually make it.
Greetings Everyone!
There's only a few days remaining, but we're getting so close to passing over the line! To help entice more people to give us their financial support, the creators involved in NightCry have got some last minute adjustments to some of the Rewards!
First up is Masahiro Ito! He wants to get in on the dinner stuff, so we've created a new "Fright Night" tier! It's another $10k tier, and he'll be joined by Kono-san and Shimizu-san! This tier is limited to 2 backers.
Next we have Takashi Shimizu! He's agreed to prepare illustrations, shown below, with personalized signature! In addition, you'll get a DVD of some of his rare short films that he's made! This new reward tier is limited to 10 backers, and is available for $800!

Then Kono-san has a modified version of the Ship's Guest reward, which has been priced at $400. Backers at this new tier, called "Social Fear", will be featured in the SnapNPost in-game social network, with at least one SnapNPost post created featuring a picture supplied by the Backer! This tier is limited to 10 Backers as well.
Finally, we're looking into getting t-shirts made! We've got some draft designs (posted below) & and are looking into pricing & shipping costs. Let us know which one you like!

Stay tuned for more!
Generally, projects get a sizable bump the last few days. This should make it.
Whoa where did this push come from?? It's only a little bit farther now!
A small number of backers making large pledges.
And that's why I feel like this is all too fishy. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time the developer pledges the difference just to get to the goal and bag all the money.
I upped my pledge from 25 to 200, no Taco Bell for me this month.
This has one of the most unusual daily funding charts ever:

By the way thanks a lot ArjanN for keeping this thread up to date. You did a great job in spreading the word.
Hard to believe these last pushes, almost !
If it's really their industry friends, that's really sweet and makes me happy.A small number of backers making large pledges.
Really wish there were more backers. There's only 1775 at the moment and that just feel so depressingly low. I mean, yeah, Horror is a niche genre and it is no wonder why few devs and pubs greenlight those kind of games (unless it's a known IP or has Zombies).
It just looks so creative and unique and not at all like anything that is out there right now (or in the foreseeable future). And it seems to have a good amount of quality experienced talent behind it too. Really hope more people can back it in the final 48 hours.
It's now at $265,828. Less than 35K to go. There've been many kickstarters which have gotten that amount and more in their final 48 hours. Really hope this one does too.
It deserves so much more though
The creature art is pretty ace:

A final push from me.
The game is at 266 000$ and is on track to 295 000$. 5 000$ short of the Kickstarter goal.
Come on guys. Make it happen! Don't let it die so close to the finish line!![]()
Done! Was worried but it seems like this juuuuuuuuuuuust might make it - La-Mulana 2 devs put it as a kickstarter update like 10 minutes ago which might just be enough to get this over the line - hopefully .
The beginning was really bad though - this could have easily been 400k range if they had this momentum at the beginning.
This is going to make it with like 5 minutes left. This is too big to fail now. Numbers will be fudged if need be.

Only 20k left, it has to make it at this point right? It's pulled in a miraculous amount of money in the last 5 days.
Kickstarters generally get a bump in the last couple of days, even more if the media gives them some attention.
These sorts of tiers and rewards no doubt are what are pulling in the cash in Japan and elsewhere.
