Now THIS looks like a live-action superhero team who can tangle with Gods, Angels, Devils and intergalactic super terrorists. Or to put it in a more Grant Morrison way...

Small joke on my part, they really only need a decent script. Granted I thought Henry's delivery was a bit too dead pan in man of steel. So I do think that the acting ability of the actors is questionable.

I agree it'd be nice to have a better script than MOS. But a JL film is, like Avengers, going to be a collection of moments rather than a particularly good story. And selling those moments requires us to believe these characters are capable of ridiculously awesome feats. If you can't buy Batman staring down Darkseid, or Superman beating Brainiac to a pulp and saying 'welcome to Earth' or Wonder Woman drop-kicking Hades down a hole... it doesn't matter how good the writing is.

Looks great, I love it isn't just your typical aquaman, a blonde guy, but damn polynesian through and through. Tattoos fit perfectly to character and ethnicity. Looking forward to this more and more.
Should've gone with Lynn Collins, in my opinion.
Gadot looks especially slender in her built, regardless of training.

There was never any doubt in my mind that WB and Snyder would make an extremely impressive Aquaman. Hopefully this incarnation of Aquaman's Atlantis retains some of the advanced technology that we've seen in the recent animated Justice League films rather than just 'Game Of Thrones underwater'.
I still think that Aquaman and the 'cinematic Flash' have the most potential to be visually amazing and perhaps really define the DC films separating them from Marvel (and everyone else's) output.

The rest of the world didn't start embracing superhero films until 2012. The Dark Knight Rises did well overseas.

Because the audience can totally relate to a Hugh Jackman running around onscreen in bright yellow spandex.
This is not a comic book. Movie goers want something believable. Snyder has said that much already. It is why Superman has the costume he has. It has to make sense to movie goers. What sense is there to be made with a wolverine in bright yellow spandex? The source material serves as a guide. Its not something they have to adhere to 100%. An Xmen movie that stayed 100% true to the source material in costume design would be mistaken for the Power Rangers.

Marvel has proven that people would probably love the bright yellow spandex. The whole "Moviegoers won't want to go see people in bright spandex costumes running around." excuse was debunked a while ago.
