What is my current ringtone and why isn't it this?
Here's an American theme version (not by Studio Megaane).
It always amuses me how different in tone the two songs are. I remember watching the Japanese version for the first time and thinking, I feel like I'm on a magical journey or something... oh right. The American version plays up the "digital" aspect more.

Honestly, Re: Digitize Decode would probably sell better than Cyber Sleuth just by being on 3DS.

Though it doesn't help that there isn't a series airing on TV now. Xros Wars did air the first 31 episodes... on Nicktoons, a cable channel that isn't available in as many homes. All part of Nickelodeon's grand scheme to screw over their action shows that aren't TMNT... There hasn't been any news on the series continuing either.
I really hope Toei gives Tri to someone that isn't Saban Brands... someone that would actually respect the series.

Yeah I hope the 3DS game comes out. I just know that that one is supposed to be like the original Digimon World which is what caught my interest. Is Cyber Sleuth like that too?
How likely would it be for Toonami to get a hold of it? Does Saban have any ownership over the franchise in North America? Does Nickelodeon?

Cyber Sleuth plays like the DS games (regular RPG with 3vs3 battles and branching digivolution).
Right now, Saban has the rights. They're not doing a good job with them.
Mostly because they decided to air the show on Nickelodeon, who pulled it after 3-4 episodes and only aired it on Nicktoons (the lesser channel full of repeats of cancelled shows) and now no news on if the series will even keep going.
As for Toonami, probably not. Even if Funimation gets a hold of it, it's probably "too childish" for the new Adult Swim format.

The original Re: Digitize has an almost completed fan translation and they plan on working on Decode afterwards, so at least there is that as backup.
Cyber Sleuth is like the DS games (Digimon World/Digimon World: Dusk/Dawn).
This season might get more of a chance because of the nostalgia and the fact that it seems to be skewing older. Toonami would probably be the best place for it to end up but it won't happen.
I'm not saying there isn't any chance for a Cyber Sleuth release (keep the hope alive
) but considering this was 'announced' by Toei during their quarterly financials which isn't something that happens a lot. It's probably being released by Toei over here. Presumably to cash in on any Digimon hype during the Adventure Tri business in the west.Toei wouldn't help bring over a proper big game like Cyber Sleuth so I can't say this is indicative of anything other than Toei hoping for some smartphone sales during the Tri hype.

As for CS playing like the DS games, they do yes but they have proper 3D battles now. the DS games (at least the ones I've played) were like 1st person 2D battles.

I think it goes without saying that a Cyber Sleuth release is a long shot, hence the "might" in my statement, but I think it's too early to call Crusader irrelevant. It and Tri are probably going to be the best gauges for interest in the west we'll ever get.
Besides at least it's probably better than All-Star Battle, lol.
Tri Maybe but a mobile card game feels about on par with ASB in terms of relevancy.
Speaking of Tri, the more days that past, the more I wonder if they are delaying it. Or they are just starting their marketing really late. Considering it's almost March now, you'd think we would have at least one PV by now (or even a plot summary/art of the actual Digimon). TVCMs I wouldn't expect until a week or two before the start date at the earliest.

And I will agree, because that is the truest of true statements.
I for one, am excited. Despite being the 7th season, this is the most bold approach yet for the Digimon series. Whether its going to turn out good or bad, its going to be entertaining.
At the very least, we will still have the original show for all the feels.

The epilogue never actually stated they weren't together though. I know they did point out Matt and Sorah got married as well as Ken and Yolei, but they may've intentionally left the TK/Kari ship ambiguous because it was arguably the most popular shipping of the whole DM adventures

Didn't Azulongmon in 02 say something like, there is no light without hope, and there is no hope without light? That might've meant and confirmed right there that TK and Kari need each other/are meant for each other. Maybe they'll explore that further in DM adventure 3.

If you look closely, you see the two paired couples's children have swapped hair colors and styles (Yamato/Sora and Ken/Miyako). Now take a look at Hikari's and Takeru's children.
