God I hope we get a new Direct in March and there's new Zelda footage.
I wish there were Zelda footage every day, but it's best if they keep the lid on the game until the Treehouse blowout at E3.

About this open world, just how much is open enough?
A huge overworld wouldn't be much without interesting stuff to do, especially on Zelda, not any separated area by loading would be a huge improvement, but im not sure is going to be, or if it needs to be like Xenoblade X.

If Skyward Sword is anything to go by, they might fill the world with overground puzzles (perhaps around points of interest).
Right now I'm on Xenoblade life support. It helps, but even that is dire...

They're probably not going to show the Zelda U trailer until the last day.

Phantom Hourglass was announced with a trailer at GDC '06, IIRC.
Still, not exactly a huge body of announcements to go with. I still wouldn't rule it out, though. Maybe another small gameplay video like the TGA demo.

I imagine that that there's a big overworld that unites several side areas. I honestly don't expect it to differ much from what we've seen. Just the size and maybe content in the actual overworld.
There's that, too. If there's anything at GDC, it's gonna be Yoshi, Mario Maker and Splatoon.
Oh man Splatoon, I hope that game does well. Looks great.

Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess had an trailer shown at GDC...so nothing is impossible.
And its the 10 Years Anniversary for the TP trailer so either we get an trailer for Zelda U or the TP 3DS port! 8B

Jajajaja...we all know that "one more world" trailer bit I think it was the GDC one which showed us the great looking sea we never saw in the final game and the wolf at the end. And wasn't the name revealed? Don't know that exactly anymore.

They will not. They only showed off Zelda there when Iwata also gave the keynote speech. We won't see a peep from them at GDC. That's not what GDC is about anyway.
Unless Aonuma is giving a talk at GDC you won't get any interviews. And that's highly unlikely because what would he talk about. Next year is more likely because there he could do a post-mortem on Zelda U.

They showed Zelda at the vga they can show it anywhere now its open... im not gonna get stupidily hype abput it though im realistic

That was a big Nintendo-heavy event where it would stand out. Not a random event for developers that is not an event for PR/media coverage like GDC. E3 will be it.
It is pretty crazy how the first 2 trailers showed off a completely different game than the one we got.

Well, the game has several lookout towers, and Aonuma already said they have several "high places" in the game designed so you can see the landscape ahead.
