More revelations than the end of the New Testament. Given Oska's heritage we can probably expect a few more level ups from her in the future, especially if the group's about to visit her homeland. Also the jokes about Higan's marital status will never get old.

reading the interview with the keyman author and yoshikazu really drives home just how real the opener of super cruel and terrible tales of mangaka was (y = da gawd himself)

Sugar Dark Volume 4 [END]

Sometimes print volumes come out with errors and stuff, but the one in the last volume of Sugar Dark I bought is so weird, with a chapter worth of stuff inserted upside down, so to keep reading I had to flip the volume twice.

I guess the end makes good on the sugar part of the title, with its sweetness. Can't say I'm disappointed with it, though I admit I was hoping in something a bit more grandiose with the plot.
But whatever, I'm happy with what I got, even if a bit rushed there was some despair, some mystery, some darkness and some hope and the character art, although not as defined, did a good enough job in conveying the original character designs from mebae. And speaking of mebae, I should try to track down an artbook or something.

But it's THE LIFE HE CHOSE, and he is PUSHING FORWARD.

Shokugeki No Soma 105/106

So the road to Erina must be paved with more harem blood this time in the form of Erina's assistant. This feels like a warm up round for Soma before taking on the true tsundere challenge

I enjoyed the exploration in humanity and how the crew realized how evil reality truly is. I enjoyed how ruthless and calculating Levi and Hanji were during the torture session. Enjoyed the cliche political bs Erwin had to do to seize the day. did justice to how common it is for govs always upto shady shirmt and not overdoing it.

as to the spoiler,
He needs to show up more snd do more before i can make proper opinion. its not enough that he can talk and shows intelligence. He needs to do much more than that to interest me. all he did was show he has something of a brain, threw a rock, then disappear from manga. not enough impact to even bother remember him. A foreshadow of whats to come? perhaps but thats it.
I too enjoyed Levi and Hanji's personalities, though everyone else does too. The ending to Erwin's role had a nice twist.

I thought the monkey titan was fascinating the moment he was revealed. Him being radically different from all the other titans really signifies that he is special. No other titan showed that level of intelligence or the ability to speak. I love to hear what people think about because it go me so excited the first time I read it.
mha is realest of real

its the future

shit gets real several times
I'm going the quote this for any question related to Hero Academia. It's all that needs to be said.

Desert world, mysterious box, boy is key to said box and everyone is out to get him, android girl comes and becomes his bodyguard.

The action is pretty damn well done. Though, ending on the 2nd of the 3 part series kinda makes the plot feel eh, cause its now on a cliffhanger and who knows when I'll read the conclusion now.

Someone else actually read this? Neat.

The environment design and some of the character designs are so weirdly lush with detail. Almost reminds me of Mega Man Zero series concept art.

Edit: Oh yeah Chokujin Gakuen got mad hype with 22's release.

Kono Oneesan wa Fiction desu 48 (end)

What the hell. What a troll non-ending. Was this series cancelled, or did the author deliberately want me to be salty?

Jitsu wa Watashi wa is all the shonen you need~

I meant an 800 chapter RAISE MY POWER LEVEL shounen, but amen, brother.

Seishun Pop

I kept reading this garbage because I was hoping it was turning into a psychological thriller as Ayano started losing her mind and keeping dark secrets. Instead nothing interesting with her happened, random events involving the dude's mom happen with no build up and I'm bored out of my mind. What an utter waste of effort.

I barely understood what was happening at the end because the translation quality was pretty low. I guess the C-team was working on that one, or they didn't bother to edit the scripts.

I doubt very much that translation was the problem so much as the story following a plot instead of character motivations. There's just no payoff. All the characters have goals and none of them get resolved, the author simply did not care. Things just happen, and then it's over.

Why don't we get to learn more about Ayano's transformation, and why did it end so randomly? Why does her family have such a strange psychosis involving her father? Why does sakuto not remember his childhood? Why isn't there more tension with that dude in the band that likes Eve? Why does the old bassist struggle so much with her artistic integrity? What was the point of the whole mom in the hospital arc of it she was going to just get hit by a car? Why doesn't Sakuto care enough to try and figure out why Ayano is changing? What made him want to go solo?

Basically nothing involving the characters has any follow up. The author just decided to have a story with a set beginning and end, then "things" happen in between. Maybe events were just pulled out of a hat? I don't know how you can have such important character interactions and wind up with a story so completely shallow.

Out of the new Shonen Jump series this one has seriously piqued my interest. Compared to all of them the MC design is unique as fuck and I like it. I really hope it doesn't get axed because it seems to have lots of potential. Like it deals with cyborgs and the premise seems actually good.

I actually haven't been this hyped for a new Jump series in a long time I hope it doesn't fail.

I agree with all of that. The reason why I pointed to the translation is because I still don't really understand how Sakuto and Eve resolved their sexual/romantic tension. I mean, that was the overriding conflct of the entire series. The only clue is that he went solo, but that isn't necessarily definitive either way. Maybe the author just didn't explain that, either.

The Feelings We All Must Endure

She IS awful lol. Zero regret.

edit:
I thought the monkey titan was fascinating the moment he was revealed. Him being radically different from all the other titans really signifies that he is special. No other titan showed that level of intelligence or the ability to speak. I love to hear what people think about because it go me so excited the first time I read it.
For me the problem is that since rock throw, we haven't seen him again since and there are more interesting developments within the walls that he becomes an afterthought. He is unique but the writer didn't make the most of his short appearance imo. hence my indifference.

Wait, really? That bad is the "ending"?
I have it on my "To read" list, but if the ending's that bad, maybe I shouldn't bother to start reading it and just delete it from my list.

I really enjoyed the series, and the characters were way less terrible compared to Nisekoi the average romcom, but I'm almost certain the series got cancelled, given the abrupt non-ending.

Based on earlier discussion a few pages ago it seems that it actually was cancelled.

Haven't read it yet but might as well now.

Also this "trip up at the end with some non event/garbage" stuff that's been going on recently is pretty sad tbh

Bonjour Koiaji Patisserie

Girl wants to be a patisserie, goes to fancy school for it, meets 4 pretty boys, goes all doki doki

There's also something about no teacher-student relationships and three of the pretty boys are teachers so probably lots of no we shouldn't, etc, etc

Shoujo forbidden love revolves around older authority figures.

Shounen forbidden love revolves around sisters.

Amazing comedy.

Saw raw scans of the first few chapters a while ago and thought this had some great potential. Thanks for pointing it out.

Another series that is generic and horrible. Again, I'm not trying to insult your taste cause I like things others wouldn't but man do I hate them...

Also,
I read an NTR that's breaking my heart right now.

Don't worry, personally I think the NTR genre is shit. Different strokes I guess.

Lasboss X Hero End

Well, it felt rushed, but had potential.
