Izumi BibleThump
Tooru you monster.

Shokugeki no Soma - 107
You know what would have been cool? if they showed how Erina took control of the kitchen... missed chance in my opinion.

Jojolion - 40
Man reading Jojo monthly is depressing, as soon as you read the first page you wonder if you've missed a chapter because they are so detached one from the other...

Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere Vol. 3B

More factions and more characters. A lot of focus on Nate and her relationship with her mother. Musashi looks to be participating in the historical recreation of the Sack of Magdeburg next. A highlight of this volume was definitely the focus on what other nations are doing, especially KPA Italia, antagonists of the first arc, facing off against PA Oda, who seem to be the main antagonists overall.

Seinen has a far wider range of themes. You've been missing out.

But yeah, Prison School is art, Prison School is enlightenment. Read it. Like, right now.

In public if you dare.

Seinen is a meaningless term in reality

Keijo!!!

Dat Poor People power lol

Anyways the stuff with Miyata isn't done yet apparently given that Ring girl got that amount of people by preying on their inferiority complex and whatever else.

Horimiya

yea this sub plot is starting to wear thin now but luckily this chapter it was saved by Miyamura's antics (plus Hori just observing) lol

Sure, but I was mainly responding to Turok's post about how he didn't really read seinen up until recently.

A-yup. Usually just means "extra violent shounen. With nipples"

More like "pretty much everything is fair game".

I don't understand why people refer to age demographics as genres.

Probably because publishers dictate the kind of content that gets a pass depending on the demographics. There are thought-provoking shonen just like there are brainless seinen, and it's not an accurate indication of a series by any means, but it does give a general idea of its contents.
