Why do I feel like there were some animation swappings right before Batman landed on the car. I mean it's like he disappeared real quick and then appeared again with a new pose.

Probably was, if it's actual gameplay and not a cutscene. Arkham games have a few instances of animation swapping.
I'm assuming it was a rubber round or something nonlethal, since the "bullet" bounces right off him.

Well the floor in the theater did blow up so...
That was actually the one part of the trailer I didn't like. He doesn't hit the car with enough impact, and that sad little spark effect just doesn't sell it and looks pretty bad. Why does it appear in front of his head?

Scarecrow is absolutely terrifying to look at. I really like the addition of a noose around his neck. It's a nice little throwback to the Scarecrow redesign from the Batman Animated Series.
