Yep. It was after I saw the official images of the dress on the website that sells it. Madness.
The A and B squares are the same color:
I was about to bring this up as well. The white B square looks gray because its in the darkest portion of the shadow so it matches the gray A square that's in light.

The white parts have a blue tint to them because of the lighting, so I'm not sure why people are source hex values for it.

I have two different monitors with very different color spaces, one has almost the entire srgb gamut, the other is missing a big chunk. If you have a colorimeter you can see what colors your display can show.

I've gone both ways. (Started with blue and black though)
The fact that some people have said it's wedding white it's what getting me. Not "white with indoor shading making it kinda blue." People are saying pure white.

So GAF, I will attach the explanation below. TL DR, some of you will primarily see blue and black in this photo, and some will see white and gold. I personally see blue and black, while my girlfriend sees white and gold.
There is also a chance that I am full of shit, so see for yourself and compare results.

I saw B&B first and was able to see W&G briefly, but it returned to B&B

For a lot of people the lighting of the image makes the blue look like very very light blue. Close enough to white to not mention any blueness.
But the longer you look at the image the bluer it becomes. Especially after you see a picture of the dress in normal lighting where it's very blue.

im starting to see it ad very sky blueish, not sure why I even said it was white at first actually, I blame the OP for putting it in my head it was either black/blue or white/gold lol
The longer you stare at it the more it becomes blue and black.
For those who can't see blue and black.
Tilt your monitor a bit and then look far away, afterwards slowly tilt it back and move closer. Then don't close your eyes and stare at it and your brain will naturally fix the exposure issue.

Honestly, I've seen this picture in a number on different sites, and in each one I see it differently colored. I don't know what that means exactly.
